We are located in the sunny south east of Ireland in Co. Wexford. Our property is truly unique a real one off gem with a beautiful long sandy beach of over 2 km with direct private beach access. There are lots of wonderful walkways through the property, plenty of animals micro pigs, ducks, geese, pheasants, chickens, Shetland ponies, peacock. The property is a nature reserve. There is a lovely cottage on site for your accommodation. We are looking for people to assist with the day to day activities for 5 days a week for approx. 6 hours per day. Accommodation provided in a lovely house, together with food or alternatively, a food weekly monetary allowance. Unfortunately there is no WIFI but there is a TV. It is a really special place and offers a tranquil, peaceful and delightful environment for the right person. The nearest village, Kilmuckridge is 3km away and wifi is available there, nearest town is Gorey (18 km) and Dublin is approx. 90 mins drive. There is lots to do in Wexford , cultural sporting and for leisure. There is quad bikes, bicycles and kayaks all on site for you to enjoy plus great fishing just off our beach. Plus in the sunny south east we get the best weather in Ireland!

The Position is to help out and assist in the nature reserve with gardening duties, property maintenance, woodland work, undergrowth clearance, replanting of trees, planting of wild bulbs, looking after the animals, reserve projects, pond clearance, cleaning out bat boxes, bird boxes, pruning and sculpting trees, harvesting wild fruits, building pens and fences, repairs to roads, and caring for our gardens, woods, parkland flora and fauna and collecting data on birds and wildlife. Knowledge of how to work chainsaws, strimmers or carpentry would be a real advantage.

You should be a good communicator, responsible and trustworthy, with a deep enthusiasm and passion for wildlife, conversation, trees, plants, nature and animals. You must be able to speak English well and work on your own initiative.

Ability to drive with a clean Licence would be helpful as there are neighbouring reserves in co. Wicklow where similar work is carried out.
