Attractive rustic old Norfolk Barns that I have been developing, on a shoe string, since 1991. In 1997 I built an eco-cabin and extended it in 2004 with a 50square metre straw-bale,on rubber tyres buildingy. We have a reed-bed purification system, and have started harvesting water. There is a large vegetable garden which I have developed along Permaculture principles with composting on site cf. Thanks to a former volunteer we now have a wonderful polytunnel. I am a member of the Permaculture association which has always been a source of inspiration.Sadly I am without large animals For many years I ran animal assisted activities, but recently have
given the ponies and pigs to a wonderful project working with city school children in a residential setting, giving them an experience of the outdoors. cf Ringsfield Hall Eco-centre near Beccles. I am now working with two Norwich Charities welcoming people in recover from addictions, and this June we received our own Charity Number:1178610 A group come to help regularly and there is usually a 6-8 residents in recovery here to enjoy the peace of the country side. Any helpers must be sympathetic and patient, and accept that we are a drug and Alcohol free zone, and be understanding of people with mental health issues, often associated with Addictions.
I am a member of a small christian community whose members have contributed much help over the years during their monthly working days. We had many enthusiastic helpers over the past years who were remarkable, they represented 19 nationalities!: Brazil, Hungry, Germany,USA, canada,Germany Holland,Spain, Italy, France,Romania,Hong-kong, Japan, Korea,La Reunion,Tiawan, Argentina, Chile++ England and Me from little Jersey! so a truly international cooperative team. and what a team! Currently We are demolishing the old Goat shed with the plan of turning it into my retirement pad, so if there are any helpxers out there with or with out skills I would be really blessed.
We built a straw-bale wall last year but forgoyt to put a 'hat' on it so it weathered badly and is in need of renovation so opportunities to learn new skills including rendering with lime which is planned.

There are five units at the farm. We are a group committed to living in the light of Jesus gospel with particular emphasis on justice and peace,'people care and Earth care',loving God's creation and wanting to tread lightly on our earth.' We respect people regardless of their background and our beliefs are not imposed on anybody.
We are members Christian Ecology Link, Rermaculture Association.

Currently needing skilled help as we are building, or willing Helper reaady to work alongside on of our Trustees.
