We are a Yon family (minority hill tribe in northern Thailand) who started our own permaculture farm 20 years ago. Two years ago we started to offer homestays (Bungalow is 100-150/night/person)this money help for maintenant and re- forest project at New Land Project, in our self made traditional natural bungalows. These bungalows are both mud and bamboo houses. Visitors can participate in our daily work and can gain insight into our tradition, culture and farming-techniques and to learn permaculture every day afternoon class for free.
We are doing this mainly to preserve our culture and to show other young Hill Tribe community members the worth of our way.

Food picking from farm is free or local market share money with volunteer group.

Here you can learn about de-husking rice (the rice we eat is planted here), weaving bamboo baskets, bamboo spoon, bamboo cup, preparing international foods on the fire, etc. We always end each day with communal music playing and singing around the fire.

We would be happy to welcome you here.
