Family owned business and we grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, edible hanging baskets and some other veggies in season. We also make fresh salsas as tomato production increases. We are near Homer, Alaska. We use organic methods and sea based soil amendments but we are not certified. We are in the process of building up our compost program to add to the greenhouse soils. Currently we need help with high tunnel completion, transplanting over 600 tomatoes, raised bed construction, planting and farmstead development. We need to finish a watershed/ veggie storage building, farmstand, baskets and bins for the market and storage. We are working on hooking up a wood-fired outdoor boiler and would love to build an outdoor wood oven! We are on 10 acres of mostly untouched land with over 15 kinds of wild berries and lots of wildlife. We are located about 10 miles from Homer between Homer and Anchor Point. We try to help with outside activities like salmon and halibut fishing, beachcombing and sightseeing. We have a camper here. Outhouse for your use and showers available in the main house several times a week. We have 1 dog, 2 cats, and a 14-year-old boy. Children might be welcome depending on ages. Our son is 14 and loves to be outdoors! Strictly no alcohol or non-prescription drug use of any kind here in the farm.

We strive to ensure the best fit between Wilderness Greenhouse and our WWOOFers and helpers.
