Call for builders!! We have some interesting traditional building projects you could support (carpentry, stone masonry, biobuilding)

New Dance Residencies in Nature. A chance to help farming and participate in dance projects.

We grow food all year long, raise some poultry, we have horses.
We have a veggie garden and we harvest wild food.

Permanent residents are DAVIDE: a musician (DAVIDE Salvado) and DANIEL, dancer and therapist.
Daniel also teaches yoga, you might have a chance to practice! Also music jam (bring your instruments!).
We live near the Camino de Santiago, there is an international community of pilgrims always visiting.
Our organization uses A Casa do Río as its headquarters. We support organic farming and visibility for LGBTIQ people in rural areas. A Casa do Rio is a beautiful camping area by the river.
You may be in charge of hosting campers.
Help needed with building and maintenance.
We run art, dance, agriculture and natural horsemanship wokshops, markets and music events, parties.

We provide food and accommodation. We`re asking for help with basic house and farm maintenance, gardening, taking care of animals, cleaning.
Only thing we ask is: be able to work unsupervised! Know volunteer comes from volo-, -tatis, something like "the will" to do something. Willing to help means also helping yourself.

Not great mobile reception, depending on mobile operator.

Beautiful walks and sightseeing.
Vegetarian food, local products! Occasionally fish and seafood. You can learn about traditional culture.
Please notice the farm is much more active during spring-summer-autumn, we won’t be hosting as many events and it’s likely that during the winter life will be more contemplative and quiet. It is also up to you to change this!

IMPORTANT: From October until April it will be easier for us to host volunteers who travel with their own accomodation (caravan, van etc). Weather is quite humid, often rainy and cold, please bring warm clothes for the winter!
