we are looking for long term and short term helpers...we teach skills here!
2+ irrigated acres are in cultivation with summer and winter row crops throughout the year. Our goal is year round growing utilizing our commercial size greenhouse, aquaculture and vermiculite processes. Other “crops” include herbs, flowers, mushrooms, and honey bees. We have a large scale aquaculture program running with plans to expand it.

currently we are working on commercial mushroom cultivation on both logs and straw.
we are a working sustainable homestead so...
We raise our own eggs, meat chickens, rabbits, sheep, ducks, and hogs which we process for our consumption.
with that said we are omnivores and keep an omnivore diet, and we do NOT cater to special diet restrictions.
helpers are provided up to three prepared meals a day by our farm cook, clean safe lodging in a 170 year old farm house set up dorm style.
we can provide transportation to/from the bus station or airport.
in return we expect at least 5 hours work a day with sunday off.
work can range from washing dishes to light weeding.
please have a look at our facebook page to see what we do and when we do it...years of pictures

Other current farm activities include on farm retail market, wine making, commercial deer processing, canning, preserving, dehydrating, sausage & jerky making and loads more!
