Activities from now till the end of August will be centred around the vineyards with winter pruning and repairing grape trellis
We run a real farm with an associated tourist attraction, not just a hobby farm , we are in pristine place surrounded by native forest and a national park.
We have cattle for breeding for beef and sell off weaners at about 8 months of age. They are all our pets though sometimes they are naughty and do things they shouldn't, just like children. They are calving in July and August each year .

A vineyards for wine grapes producing 8 different varieties of grapes over 10 Ha of Vineyard. There are lots of vineyard activities every season except autumn. The busiest times are spring when we can always do with extra help and picking, in Late January and February.

A winery with cellar door and café is open 364 days of the year and gives all a chance to meet people from all walks of life and countries. Most work associated here would be with the Cafe. Love to have some helpers over the Xmas period

A large hedge maze 2 km in length for visitors to explore, this maze is a great tourist attraction and requires lots of maintenance during the summer months so help is always appreciated.

We already employ an Australian Chinese Lady at cellar door to help with our Chinese visitors, we welcome all cultures.

Our accommodation for helpers is a three bedroom cottage seperate to our house , it is for you to cater for yourself , do your own washing and keep the cottage clean which is essential, we supply food and linen , it's basically self contained.

We have an Thai sharefarmer growing Asian vegetables and fruit for the local market as part of our farm activities so always lots of fresh vegetables as she appreciates help.

After a French family stayed with us for a month and they were fabulous we would welcome families to stay with us openly.

Our property is only 20 minutes to Port Macquarie and some of the most pristine beaches in the world on the east and rainforest on the west. There are no shops nearby so one can't walk to them to buy food every day or get onto public transport.

Bago is a non smoking environment so please take note
***ONLY TELSTRA PHONE RECEPTION. So if you are purchasing an aussie phone and going into the Australian country our advice is only buy Telstra cards as the other will not give good reception.
