Would you like a change of scene? How about some Aussie country-living in a creek-side blue-stone cottage in exchange for part-time work?

We need a live-in garden-loving couple to help us at Kingbilli, our 200 acre riverside llama-farm, pinto Shetland pony stud and Wildlife Refuge at Taggerty, 90 minutes NE of Melbourne in Victoria's Central Highlands. Home to over a 100 species of native wildlife, Kingbilli offers a relaxed country lifestyle in beautiful natural surroundings.

This is what we do:
1. Offer eco-friendly farm-stays to families
2. Breed Llamas and pinto Shetland Ponies.
3. Protect native wildlife in our Wildlife Refuge.

And this is what we need:
A live-in garden-loving couple to help keep our property, its gardens and cottages looking their best.
We request 2 days work per person per week (on Mondays and Fridays) leaving the rest of the week free for you to do as you wish.
Tasks - gardening, raking, weeding, collecting and stacking firewood, house-cleaning and general property maintenance.

In exchange, you will be provided with your own private, fully-furnished, self-contained, mews-style blue-stone cottage, which has a spacious living-dining room with glass-fronted wood-heater, separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor gas-BBQ. Satellite TV, free WiFi, (BYO laptop) gas, electricity, fire-wood, laundry facilities, tennis racquets and mountain bikes are included. We have a small orchard from which you may select seasonal fruit ... but apart from that, you must provide and cook your own food and keep your cottage clean and tidy.

Recreation - cycling, tennis, fishing, boating, bush-walking, bird-watching and wildlife spotting.

Paid work - off-property part-time, casual or seasonal work is available locally and to help you find it, when you arrive we will provide you with a list of local farmers and business-folk to contact. An additional range of jobs is also advertised in our 3 local newspapers.
