Hi there,

I am looking for helpers for general farm work.

This week I want someone to help with planting bulbs etc

I have a very tame horse that I want help with washing, saddling and riding. I have another horse that needs groundwork.

I have cows, ducks, goats, sheep, horses and a beehive that need to be monitored and maintained on a regular basis.

Other duties may also include spraying weeds, gardening etc.

I live in a very remote and scenic location surrounded by national forest. Forest walks, Tane Mahuta, kiwis, and wild game are nearby. Property is near to beautiful swimming holes and beaches etc.

Quirky and friendly community, very typical of old school NZ.

Workload is around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (20 hours), all meals included. You can work extra hours if you prefer to take a day off here and there. Property has wifi and usual mod-cons. You get your own room and bed. Additionally, I would also like you to help with cooking meals and general tidiness.

I find it is best that you tell me your strengths of what you want to do as I have plenty of jobs to suit all types.

I work on the internet from home during the day so you will mostly be autonomous. I give people less hours but I expect you to be productive and like to see plenty of work achieved in that time.

If you are interested in this type of thing, I have a tiny house project up the back of the farm that has been started, I'm happy if you want to spend some of your time on it as well.

Singles or a couple welcome.

It is best that you have your own car / transport as I am a long way from the bus stop.

You are welcome to bring your own alcohol refreshments.
