Seeking carpenters, construction workers, plumbers, electricians that preferably are familiar with the building code.
Salmon Arm is a small community (populations 19,000) lies in amongst mountains and surrounded by lakes and rivers.

We are only minutes from town yet in the country surrounded by forests. Lots of hiking, mountain biking, and near to the sandy beaches of the Shuswap Lakes.

CARPENTRY: We have a 2nd residence on the property that is to lock up stage. Needs drywall, plumbing, cabinets, closets, painting, tilling and all that comes with that. Also a very large sundeck that needs repairing/new floor, posts and railing back up.

CLEANING: Lots of cleaning in the 2nd residence and garage, washing windows, and general house cleaning for guests that come to stay.

YARD WORK: when snow arrives there will be daily snow shovelling, chopping wood and brining it in.

Let us know your skills and interests and we should be able to find work that suits you.

Salmon Arm is half way between Vancouver and Calgary, and only 4 hours from Banff.

Although tucked away in the forest, we are on the bus route as well as within walking and biking distance to the pool, gym, golf, lake, shopping, bowling, sky diving, mountain biking, downtown, and tons of hiking trails.

If you have your own car, there are many surrounding small communities equally as beautiful for you to explore on your time off. Within a 25 min drive you will find... Sicamous, Enderby, Sorrento, Blind Bay, Armstrong, and Grindrod.
Drive 1 - 1.5 hrs to reach Revelstoke, Vernon, Kelowna, & Kamloops.

Seeking independent workers willing to work on their own, or with others.

Feel free to email with any questions or concerns you may have as I am always happy to give you the information you need to make a decision.

Accommodation will be a small private room adjacent to the 2nd kitchen in the guest suite. You are welcome to make your own vegetarian meals, or happy to share dinners with you. If you want meat you are welcome to purchase it and cook it up for yourself.
All the basic foods will be available to you should you decide to cook for yourself.
I do not supply treats, extra snack items, alcohol, or meat but you are most welcome to purchase your own.
