Welcome to Between Beaches Alaska!

At this time we need two hiking trails cleaned late April or Early May. I have chain saw, hand saws & large pruners. There is a 4 wheeler available for transportation. We love these trails and look forward to using them again!

We need help, 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, room and board, here in Alaska. We provide basic groceries, you would want to bring your own fresh fruits and veggie's from town. I have no way to get a steady supply of them.

Our jobs can be: landscaping, calking logs, sanding, yard work, jewelry making, sewing, cleaning, organizing, tech short. ; ) or cat sitting. We also usually have some kind of creative project using reclaimed materials. This spring it will be a large outdoor table made from vintage boat parts.

We are located on magical MacDonald Spit, across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska near the village of Seldovia. This location is one of a kind, 360 degree ocean views, steps to either sandy beach, & abundant wildlife. Surrounded by snow caped mountains without standing in their shade.... In your off time enjoy our kayaks, row boats, stunning photography, fishing, hiking, berry picking, mushroom foraging, amazing tide pooling, sunset beach fires or just relax in a hammock! Our sauna can be used all year long when the guests are not in it. In the summers we commercially fish for wild salmon and Halibut plus we have 3 small rental cabins & two Glamping tents, in June- September we need help cleaning them. We have wifi and excellent cell reception. If you join us in the winter months you will have your own cozy cabin and kitchenettes for your meal preparation with all the amenities plus a heated mattress. We have no running water in the winter but we use the sauna as our bath house and each cabin has its own outhouse. Winters here are pretty quiet and not many people around, this is a great time to catch up on your reading!
Mako's water taxi can bring you right to our beach.

***Sorry but we do not accept cigarette smokers.
