VOLUNTEERING APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Diverse fruit/citrus family orchard established in 1951. Native bush land with an abundance of wildlife.
We grow produce and plants with multiple farming practices including permaculture, commercial farming and market gardens.
We are 10 minute walk from the bus stop. 35 minute walk to main town with cafes, post office, library etc. 1 hour to Melbourne CBD via train. It will be more convenient to get around if you have your drivers license. If not, bicycles are available. We offer lifts to and from the train station.
The accommodation is a room inside the house. Double bed and storage. Shared access to kitchen, bathroom, toilet, WIFI internet. Meals provided and you are welcome to all kitchen appliances. However, cleanliness is mandatory.
Highlights of the local area:
Bush walking, bike riding, horse riding, restaurants, wineries, breweries, wildlife sanctuary, markets.

You will be working alongside myself, partner Steph, friend and my father who owns the property. We can only host ONE helper or couple at a time.
We ask for 4-6 hours per day (5 days a week) Depending on weather and workload.
Stays are 1 week initially, up to 1 month (negotiable)
Tasks include, not limited to;
- General housekeeping
- Weeding, Planting
- Picking & Packing
- Pruning various plants and trees
- Collecting, storing firewood
- Occasional odd jobs
- Garden Maintenance
Note- For most tasks you will be working independently.
