We are a couple of former helpXers who recently purchased an expansive and beautiful property in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Now that we have our own oasis, we love that we can pay it forward and travel in place by hosting respectful, like-minded travelers.

We need some help with basic cleanup of the property and restoring the forest to a fire-safe state. We also have some house projects we would like to complete and would welcome a helper with carpentry experience. Work would not exceed 5 hours a day, 5 days a week and in return we will provide sleeping accommodations and dinner. **Please note that we can not accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegans.

Also, our farm has many interesting animal residents; cats, dogs, chickens, quail, goats, ducks and even two alpacas! They all need love and attention, and there is always something to do around here.

The land features towering Ponderosa pine trees and more oak trees than the average property at this elevation, which is about 2200 feet above sea level.

You will have your own private area for sleeping, cooking, or relaxing as you’d like. This is a renovated camper that we lived in while searching for a property. It includes a full size bed up top that sleeps one comfortably or two snugly. The couch flips out into a second bed if needed. There is a small kitchen in the RV with a stovetop and oven that you are welcome to use. The refrigerator, toilet, and shower are located inside our house. We also have a heated outdoor shower in the woods if you prefer. Braver helpers can feel free to camp in the forest.

Plant medicines are welcome on property, but not smoking tobacco. No heavy drinkers please.

Thank you for considering!

Zach & Nicolina
