We are a busy working couple on a 27 acre property just out of Albany. We both run our own businesses and have two energetic boys aged 3 and 5. We have many fruit trees and horses along with chooks and a vegetable garden.

We are doing lots of work around the place to improve the property such as removing old fences, building improvements and new fencing. The fruit trees need pruning, cleaning up around them and watering. There is also small amounts of other gardening to be done. There may also be some odd painting jobs. If you are good at cleaning then the house could use a spring clean and if you like cooking then we would love to taste your food. Depending on your experience and skills we can find the right task that you enjoy and that helps us, you can also fit it in when it suits you.

We would like people who enjoy the outdoors and are able to work independently. We ask for 2 hours of help a day or 10 hours a week in exchange for accommodation. Minimum of 1 week stay so we have the opportunity to share our lifestyle with you and get to know you. We would like to share a meal at least once a week. We would like helpers to have their own travel insurance.

The accommodation is your own large room with separate bathroom and kitchen area. Your own transport is an advantage but we head into town often more than once a day so can offer you a ride.

Albany is a beautiful part of the Great Southern, it is a vibrant town with many attractions. We have many beaches, historic areas and hiking trails. It is a must see part of WA.
