Not much going on in the winter, but we will have availability in June 2019

Greetings from our Organic farming community! We are located just 3hr east of Toronto, ON, 2 hrs south of Ottawa and 3 hrs west of Montreal, Quebec in what is called the Golden Triangle. We are also only 15 min from the Airport in Kingston, ON. Our Community warmly invites you to experience our unique life of friends and togetherness. We live and work on a farm of 170 acres and grow Hay, Spelt (an ancient form of wheat) and vegetables without chemicals. We also have goats for milk and chickens for eggs and beautiful sheep. The food we grow we either eat or sell at our farm stand or our combination cafe/food market in the city of Kingston.

In addition to the normal farm crew and volunteers, we also have a great time doing the "community night" in the field, with everyone coming out for one or two evenings a week to join in the work and reward of getting our hands in the soil.

Guests are frequent all year round and we would love to have you join us. Whether you come for a day or come to stay, our hearts and our farm will always have room for more.

Update: Jun 2018
Summer is at our door and we are going strong in the field work. Many young animals in the barn! Look forward to hosting you!

Right now we are in the process of building up our infrastructure; setting up fences, building shelters for animals etc., so anyone with carpentry ability (or wants to learn) would be much appreciated. But other necessary activities are: Greenhouse help, gardening, haying, animal chores, cooking, baking, cleaning, and building projects (roofing framing, siding, and all phases of construction) so plenty of opportunities for all.

We love to teach and pass on what we have learned and what we are learning! Come learn together with us!

Volunteer help is based on areas of interest, abilities, our needs and availability.

We always have lots going on, so you will never be bored!
Activities may vary depending on the time of year.

Please note: Every one of us, whether guests or residents, are volunteers. There is no financial compensation offered for any tasks done. We agree to provide you with three meals a day and housing, in exchange for your volunteer help.

Living arrangements will be according to space and needs. Diets w/special needs can be accommodated within reason.

What else ...

By saying we are a "community", we do not mean a loose association of individuals in a common geographical location, but rather a large extended family of married couples, single people, and children sharing a common social, spiritual, and economical goal. That goal is to create a life of care and growth for the common good. We live a life dedicated to sustainable practices, primarily of our relationships with one another. To make this a daily reality, we eat all our meals together, gather morning and evening, with weekend celebrations, sing, dance, and offer a community prayer to the One who makes this life possible. We also teach about our spiritual way of life based on the original teachings of Yahshua the Messiah. We ask that volunteers would attend all gatherings and meals, with a desire to respect and learn from our way of life together.

We`d Be glad to pick you up at the Airport, train or bus station in Kingston, which is only about 15 minutes from the farm.
