Place avail now for helper in permaculture / garden designing / landscaping/ carpentry etc to give help, vision and initiative in expanding our organic herb vegetable eco centre.

We hope to further develop our permaculture project, renovate old buildings into retreat space, have an outdoor shower area, additional eco-toilets and a natural outdoor swimming pool constructed in the coming months and create a welcoming eco-friendly campsite.

We want people with ideas, people who have been involved in the creation of organic centres, renovating old buildings, creating retreat centres, developing environmentally friendly facilities etc. Maybe architects, plasterers, plumbers etc. for some of the building work too.

Space always available for a mechanic to help fix up machinery which was left on the farm.

help with renovations, indoor cooking, cleaning, recipe development, permaculture, organic farming, animal care landscape design, plumbing, planning and loads more

Hello :) We are a family of 7, 6 living at home, with 4 dogs, Simpson the horse, ducks, cats and chickens!

My parents, Dessie and Bridget, have recently left their jobs to work on and expand our eco-organic-farm and holistic health clinic. We are hoping to expand to include small retreat centre and tea rooms, organic shop etc. with some help from a variety of people :)

Siobhan (myself) and Bridget run the small holistic health clinic, which we are hoping to expand.

I am recovering from lyme disease and mainstream life (I am glad to no longer work in busy hospitals!) so my own physical abilities are limited a little at the moment but I know that each day is a new beginning and blessing. I am spiritual in nature and have huge love for the natural world - it became my own medicine.

Bridget is a Medical Herbalist and Naturopath, and produces her medicines using herbs from the organic gardens.
I am Dietitian, Nutritionist, Moon Mother, Energy Therapist, and Intuitive holistic health practitioner.

Alison is an arty 23 year old, Shannon 21 is a student and loves long walks, music concerts, going to town and enjoying life.
Desmond, 17 is a student - he enjoys beekeeping, camping and the outdoors. He also runs a dog caring centre.

We all love the outdoors and share great respect for Mother Earth.

We would love to welcome you to our home and if you could offer help with the gardens, clean up, caring for the animals, and/or renovations that would be fantastic.

space always available for a mechanic
We would love a mechanic to come on board, preferably someone familiar with farm machinery.

There`s always plenty of food and company around, and we invite guests to make themselves at home and join us on little trips if you wish :)

There is always a wholesome and plentiful supply food available.

We offer meals/ food to prepare own. And you are most welcome to get busy in the kitchen.

You will have a comfortable bed and use of shared bathroom, communal areas of the house etc.
Use of showers, etc.

The clinic house has a little kitchen and sitting space too, if some people need extra space it is mostly free to use - we just ask that it is kept clean.

If your taking trips we are happy to drop you to local bus stop or you can use a bicycle.

We live 1 mile from forestry and a bogland in Rural County Meath.

Local activities include horse riding, cycling, hiking, local gym in Carlanstown, swimming pool in Kells, tennis court in Moynalty and more.

We are easy going people and enjoy life`s simplicity. happy to say our home is generally a calm relaxed place to be.

There is a shop 1 mile away and closest village, Carlanstown (3.5miles), and town Kells (7 miles away), we sometimes go to Drogheda or Navan too as these are bigger towns - a family member will offer you lifts if you want to tag along on trips to town.

We do not consume alcohol indoors of the home house and would prefer someone who can respect this.

We do have a 7 day probation policy - to ensure both guests and hosts are comfortable and working well together.

The happier you are, the better it is for everyone, so we encourage open communication always.
