**june 2019

Hey there! We could use your help more than ever! We are a husband and wife who just had a baby two months ago.
We are looking for people for June and beyond. We need help weeding, harvesting veggies, building flower gardens, weed whacking, and other various projects as they come up!

The farm: We are in the beginninng of establishing food, medicinal and culinary herbs, and flower gardens.
The god is to further our food and flower farm. We have turned our old outdoor cannabis gardens into fruit orchards and vegetable gardens.

*we are a state and county licensed cannabis farm* there will some pairs opportunities however due to such scrutiny of compliance the cannabis side of the business is handled by designated employees. However you still get to be around a compliant California cannabis operation! We currently cultivate 10k sqft of cannabis.

We value people who know how to do light building, use power tools, and who enjoy learning!
Some projects include: landscaping, gardening, weed whacking, plant pruning, watering, nursery propagation, transplanting, harvesting, farmers markets, or general cleanup.

Each volunteer is expected to work 4 hours a day Monday through Friday. In exchange for this work you are provided with room and $60 per week food allowance. This ensures everyone may have access to specific dietary needs/ food preferences!
Any food we grow here is open for guests to enjoy. We may do group meals from time to time but mostly it’s up to the individual.

Ideally you are someone who is interested in growing food, gardening, food preservation, orchards, healthy living, and enjoys living in a small community. It is also important for you to have your own personal goals and enjoyments to fill up time not working on the farm.

There is one main house on the property which we all share the shower, bathroom, laundry, and cooking common areas. Cleaning up after yourself is a must!

We have a geodesic dome that we want to convert to living quarters for our new “helpxers”! Currently it is empty and needs a stove for the winter. There is plenty of room to camp.
Summers here stay in the 90s with night temps around 50s.
We have a creek in the property to take dips in!

Guests will have access to garden space! The cannabis industry has brought lots of young people into our community and people from around the world. It’s a very eclectic place!

The town: Hayfork, Ca. Population 2400 elevation 2500ft
Trinity county is a rugged and remote county compromising of mostly national forest land. Located off highway 3 the town of Hayfork is a town with roots in gold mining, forestry/ mills, and cannabis. There is a post office, park, skate park, community pool, yoga studio, natural food store, 2 grocery stores, a Hmong food store, coffee shop, art store, tire shop, gas station, laundromat, bar, lodge, various churches, library, hardware store, a true value, and a few other small shops! On fridays there is a seasonal farmers market.

****we love dogs, so much we have 5! They are friendly however we feel we are maxed out on dogs on the property and ask to not bring your furry creatures. Sorry for the inconvenience *****
*there are two young children who live part time on the property
**The county has some public transportation but We urging people to have a vehicle.
