At this point, mid-May 2020, we would love to hear from you if you are keen on helping us plant lots of trees. Digging required, so you need to be fit, but you'll make a wonderful contribution to the future!
Non-smokers only.

Would you like to come and help us create a permaculture haven on our new farm? Our 46 hectare farm is in a wonderful location, between Pemberton and Northcliffe, surrounded by beautiful karri trees and with the munda biddi biking trail going past the door and only a few hundred metres from the Bibbulman walking track. We have an accommodation business with 4 cottages, as well as 2 netted orchards, vegie gardens, an aquaculture development with several dams and marron( local freshwater crayfish) ponds, 4 cows and their calves, 6 sheep, 6 hens and our gorgeous little dog, Bunny. We have been helpX helpers in France a couple of years ago, helping to build a strawbale house, so we have been in your shoes and know that you want to have interesting experiences. There are many projects and we are constantly experimenting to find the best solutions, following permaculture principles. We also want to give our guests a great experience, so we are upgrading the cottages and David has a well equiped woodworking workshop, maybe you can help with creating items needed in the garden or the cottages. You can become a short or long term helper with opportunities to gain experience in the orchard/garden/constructing/building and maintenance projects and in the accommodation area, as well as looking after the animals.
We have several bikes, so that you have plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful forests and we can drop you off with bikes, so you can explore all around.
We will be able to pick you up in Northcliffe, there is a bus that arrives there from Perth.
We will give you nice accommodation in our rammed earth solar passive house or in one of the cottages. We eat mostly vegetarian and we will have our evening meals together. We are always happy to share the cooking and get new ideas for meals, so if you enjoy cooking, that can certainly be a much appreciated part of your work. We have traveled a lot and speak English, French, Dutch and some German and Spanish. Even some Hindi. We now look forward to welcoming helpers from all around the world to share their stories with us, thereby having travel experiences without having to go on planes!
