Come and have fun helping in the garden! - Digging, weeding, transplanting, soil toiling, mulching painting. Our home is a quaint old fashioned cottage and garden.Helpers need basic fitness and a readiness to learn and to be involved are essential.
Our names our Cath, Jack & Pat.. At the moment we are a little busy with work, renovating and running my small business. My husband Brendan has been very ill and this has impacted on our lives, so we haven’t had the time to do the things we’d like to do around our home and we are in need of some extra help and my friend suggested we do helpx for some assistance and we can show you the Aussie life.
Our home is in walking distance to the village where there are local buses and cafes. We are 1 hour DRIVING from CBD and we live close to national parks and famous tourist attractions. Accomadation is a shared bathroom. Maybe a bedroom or self contained caravan.
We also like you to participate in normal family household chores. We have a dog and chickens
We do have Wi-Fi . Billiard Table. All meals are provided, sometimes self serve. We eat wholesome and healthy food which you are welcome to share but if you have special dietary requirements you are welcome to buy and cater for yourself.
We need socially confident trustworthy people who are independent, have a good work ethic, can SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH, preferably don’t smoke, and able to slot in easily to a household. Helpers need to clean up after themselves, and are tidy and organized. We are offering one week stay initially for 2 people.
When enquiring please tell us a bit about yourself, as it matters to us who you are and who we allow into our home. Guests are carefully chosen so include your skills/experience (eg. what have you worked at/studied so far in life), indicate how you'd be able to help here.
Please Note: All efforts on our behalf are made to provide you with the highest level of 'duty of care' so that you can have a safe and secured environment for you to live and work in.
Any negligence on your behalf with regards to personal injury due to careless behaviour or medical conditions as a result of food allergies without us having prior knowledge, we cannot be made liable. We can only accept helpers on our premises who can provide their own personal travel/health insurance cover and working holiday visa.
If you accept this invitation a copy of your passport and travel insurance to be supplied on arrival. We ask the day you leave is before 10 am.
Looking forward to meeting you & sharing stories
