This is a 2-acre organic small holding situated in the Genal valled, Serrania de Ronda, Andalucia, close to the white village of Benarraba.

We are looking for helpers from the 5th of October for 2 weeks. Need to be fit (or want to get fit) .
The land has no road and is accessed via a steep rough path, about 10 minutes walk. We are completely off grid, self sufficient in water, electricity (limited to 80W solar panel) and firewood. There are over 100 productive fruit and nut trees, mainly citrus but also pears, plums, figs, apricots and more.
We are currently planning to put the land up for sale and therefore are looking for fit enthusiastic people to help us carry things up the hill to the road as well as helping with the gardens, trees, bramble cutting and other tasks. We are looking for people from September through the Autumn. Accommodation will be basic in a yurt. We will provide meals.
We have vegetable gardens planted around the fruit trees that are irrigated by a bordering stream via pipes, drippers and sprinklers.

The land is owned by my sister and myself . See her profile ID 6155. Helen usually has a small community of volunteers living on the far side of the land. She also has two donkeys, a dog and cats.

This could be a perfect opportunity to experience first-hand off-grid living for anyone who is considering this lifestyle. It would also appeal to those who enjoy peaceful retreat surrounded by forest and beautiful walks.
