Situated in the lower Alps, between Annecy and Aix les Bains, Motz, although it qseems lost is quite central to a lot of nice places to visit such as the Aravis, the Bauges, the Chartreuse, and the Maurienne. The lake cities of Aix les bains and Annecy attract millions of tourists per year to profit from the unique setting. In winter, there are nearbyu ski resorts, such as La Clusaz. We are also not far from Geneva, if continuing on to switzerland was of interest.

There are two of us working on the farm, Stephanie, a beekeeper, and Zoe in vegetable production and eggs. The beekeeping part has already well taken off, with 200 hives, production of royal jelly, honey, propolis, pollen. We have 60 hens, and the vegetable production part of the farm is still in the early stages.

The main building of the farm is still unfinished, so if anyone is interested in building with us, it could be a helping hand, but there's no pressure- We usually have enough to do out in the fields and with the bees. We're pretty chill, have two cats, try to get our weeks work done, but not stressing ourselves out too much. We love talking about food, so any recepies from all over the world are welcome to be tried and tested!!
The only condition we have is no dogs. We regret this choice, but we have had many issues with the hens, the cats and the bees, as well as discipline issues (barking all night, attacking visitors to the farm, ripping our bins all over the place, stealing meat from the BBQ)
Apart from dogs, pretty much anything goes. within reason, lol.
