Hello, my name is Sorrel. We (my family and I) welcome you to our northern California mountain top retreat, located in the heart of Sonoma and Mendocino county wine country.

The reason I have chosen the name as listed above, which means Dhamma Land, is because I have been favorably impressed by the peaceful, friendly vibrations experienced at those vipassana

It is important that no animals are harmed here, and no hunting, as I wish to cultivate a peaceful refuge for all our animal neighbors, including many different types of birds, honeybees, butterflies, foxes, skunks, squirrels, coyotes, pigs, deer, rabbits, frogs, snakes, newts, lizards, cats and dogs. There are also mosquitoes at dusk, and the occasional tick, so please bring natural repellent.

I am creating a mountain top eco-glamping nature refuge for people to come chill and reconnect to fun, creativity, physical work, yoga, dance and the peace and beauty of nature.

I am in the process of planning and building organic gardens, tent platforms which will have attractive tents with comfortable beds and amazing views, a cold plunge, a hot tub, a natural swimming pool with plant filtration and fish (aquaponics). There will be hammocks, and a comfortable relaxing outdoor gathering and socializing area.

Present accommodations are a comfortable California king size bed (HUGE) in a 24 by 8 foot caravan (trailer). This will have a composting toilet, cold running water, microwave, stove, electric tea kettle and a sitting area with dining table. There is also a small outdoor Barbecue.
Outside under 150 foot high redwoods there is a hose for cold water showers (Iíve been doing the Wim Hof Method cold water training), and a bit further away, an outdoor hot water shower. There is ample space to choose a site and pitch a tent if preferred. I can do a load of laundry a week, and if more than that we can take it down to the laundromat. There is also Wifi.

There are many projects, from painting to landscaping, forest tending, tree pruning and weeding.
Carpentry, electrical, plumbing and solar set-up skills highly appreciated!!

Thanks for reading! We look forward to hosting you soon!
