Current project:

Ours is a small and friendly rural community in the Republic of Ghana, West Africa.

We are always excited to hear from volunteers from any part of the world. Whether a volunteer wants to experience a different culture or adventure. Or a volunteer wants to provide help to people who need help most.

The following optional programmes are currently available.

1. We have many children in our community who need assistance in many ways; learn to read English, play football, sing, dance, maintain hygiene, or motivation to remain in school.

2. Through the help of 2 past volunteers,Ben from UK and Sylvain from France, we have a computer lab and currently we need help in maintaining it, and help in using it to teach basic computing skills to our children

3. Poverty is so high for some families in the community that their children attend school in tattered clothes and without pencils, pens and sandals and also sores on their feet. Raising funds to help purchase school materials could be an interesting project.

4.We do not have a library and books. This is a big disincentive to reading and learning in the community. A couple from France, Julia and Yancouba recently visited us and started a library in a small corner. We are looking for volunteers who can help in this library project--acquire books and/or build our own library.

Please, we do not impose any project on volunteers. They decide where they can help. We provide volunteers with accommodation and food during their stay. Local residents are available to help volunteers help us. Volunteers are welcome into our small community any time of the year and for any number of weeks or months or years. Your visit will greatly inspire and motivate our kids and adults greatly. Let us hear from you.

Thank you
