We are looking for one or two healthy, enthusiastic, easy-going and reliable people to help us look after our young avocado orchard and home garden.

Our property is located located 15 km from the town of Pemberton in the South West of Western Australia, an area popular with visitors for it's native forests, rivers and natural swimming holes, wineries and breweries, canoeing (you're welcome to borrow ours), swimming, mountain biking and bush walking. The area is a "food bowl' and paid work may be available at busy times of year on nearby properties.

Accommodation is separate from the house in a lovely 1963 retro caravan, with sleeping and kitchen facilities as well as an outdoor living area. In return for five hours of your work, five days a week (we're happy to be flexible with work routines), we will provide all of your food for a week, as well as accommodation. Alternatively, you can work for two hours per day in return for accommodation only, and arrange your own food if you'd prefer.

You will need to be relatively independent as we sometimes work off-farm but always look forward to sharing evening meals and relaxation time with our guests. We offer one-week only stays however this could be flexible, depending on circumstances at the time. Training and orientation, as well as safety briefings and procedures are provided - your comfort and safety, as well as enjoying your stay, is important to us :-)
