We use sustainable practices.. We try to produce a lot of our own food. We grow a garden. In addition to the goats, we currently have chickens, llamas, alpacas, ducks, pigs, and honeybees. Our small orchard includes citrus, mulberries, apples, pears, peaches, pomegranates, plums, figs, dates, and grapes. Some of these are young trees not yet producing.
Depending on the season of the year we need help with putting in gardens, preparing soil, planting gardens, harvesting and putting up produce and fruit, making compost, trimming hooves, making cheese, baking, housecleaning, washing dishes, feeding watering and caring for animals, cleaning pens, planting fruit trees, building structures for the garden.
