I've been off helpx for some time and moved cities. I'm now enjoying Edmonton in a small happy rambling home near the city centre. There is city transit from the Airport stopping a couple of blocks from our home.

Near our home you can enjoy the forested North Saskatchewan River Valley and it's huge park system with soaring cliffsides and miles of trails. This river valley is the largest expanse of urban parkland in Canada. 18,000 acres in size and 48 km in length with 22 ravines. You could spend days walking this forest.

We ask 4 full hours each day for the first five days with two free days after that (On your free days you are responsible for your own food buying, preparing and cleaning up). Work varies and may include gardening, clearing brush, conditioning soil, painting and prep and housecleaning. Renovation experience such as tiling, carpentry, plumbing, etc. would be great but not necessary.

We all share meal preparation and cleanup outside your work hours so bring favourite recipes as they will be greatly appreciated! I'll provide the groceries for the days you are working. Sorry we can't accommodate dietary preferences.

As we travel for our work we only host one week stays, with short term notice (about one week in advance is best).

Cheers and happy trails to you!

Photos include, Cathy in Jasper, front of house, backyard trees and a neighbourhood photo.
