We have two sites. One is in an urban setting (Urban) in Cuernavaca, and the other is located in the rural area of Miacatlan Morelos (Rural), next to Xochicalco, close to Cacahuamilpa caves, Taxco, and South of Mexico City. We are building our version of an Earthship with a green house. The Earthship is to house several vital cycles. I need plant-loving helpers in general, with sensibility to manage fragile plants (sprouts), people that enjoy sowing and harvesting, food preparation and willing to help me with any other task needed such as helping with finishing the house construction, cooking, weeding, compost, etc. I'm willing to learn new things and receive proposals that contribute to the project's development. You should like simple living surrounded by forest and animals. I live in a Misty forest, so there's a lot of rain, specially from July to September and can be cold in from November to February, So please consider to bring warm and waterproof clothing and a pair of good boots (you can buy one nearby for a low price), also bathing suitable for swimming in the river and fresh clothes for the day. It's a very beautiful region, full of trees, rivers and different animal species: butterflies, hummingbirds, etc. I offer as much food as possible, although I might ask for a cooperation when needed. My name is Victor and I have been teaching English to young people from my community for 8 years. I have a small school in downtown Tehuantepec near the market, banks, restaurants, and the tropical forest full of coconuts, bananas, and mangoes. Tehuantepec is located 20 minutes from the ocean beach community, Salina Cruz. I am located only a five minutes taxi ride from the local bus station. I am looking for one person at a time to come and work with my students, which includes conversing with my students and teaching if you are able to. My students need more practice talking to people who speak fluent and clear english. I ask for five or six hours a day working with my students and in return I offer a place for you to sleep and one meal a day and a tour around the city to show you my local culture. You can stay for a minimum one week and a maximum of two weeks, but we can make a deal if it works out and you want to stay longer.NOTE; at the moment im just receiving couples I ...

This project was born from the idea of taking advantage of family land and directing our energies towards achieving the goal of living in a more sustainable, simple and resilient way. We have been working the last year on maintaining the house and property, starting practices on soil improvement, mushroom production, and some food garden beds, among other things. We are expecting to start some construction in the next few months, including an outdoor toilet to be able to host campers and have workshops in the summer. Also, develop a trail/climbing experience to offer to our guests (we host people in one room of the house on bnb). I'm currently working with only one/two volunteers, and the help that I need is mainly in daily tasks like: -taking care of the animals (dogs and chickens) -working in the garden, the compost piles, and mushroom growing. -help with cooking and keeping the house. -recive and atend guests if needed This town has a limited water supply so I ask the volunteers...

Welcome to our organic avocado grove, a place where nature's beauty meets artistic inspiration! Here in Malinalco, I found a small avocado grove and envisioned transforming it into an organic farm. I met a man from Switzerland who shared my dream of turning this land into an artistic space. Together, we want to create a self-sustaining organic farm that doubles as a space for artistic development, workshops, and various cultural initiatives. Situated in a tranquil valley within the charming town of Malinalco, we believe this project can serve as a beacon for culture, creativity, and harmony among plants, humans, and animals. While tourism is not our primary goal, we hope to create a space that nurtures culture, art, music, theatre, circus arts, and education, all while promoting sustainable agriculture and responsible living for a brighter future. Our vision includes introducing bees for honey production, raising chickens for eggs, cultivating agave for Mezcal production, and establ...

MINIMUM 30 YEARS OLD!. If you are interested in mainly doing cleaning chores, some DIY projects and want to stay for at least 2 weeks on the Mexican Caribbean beach – This might be it. We are situated "off the grid" on the Costa Maya beach, 5 km south of Mahahual town, Quintana Roo, México. The Costa Maya is still a very natural environment with the 2nd largest barrier reef in front and a huge area of mangrove and wetlands behind. With the two of us we run a small cozy restaurant, open in the evenings where our international guests come and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and good company. Furthermore we have 2 rental units in our flower-full garden. Our place runs 99% on solar plus we catch our own rainwater. A sustainable system as far as reality allows us. Your main thing to do will be cleaning, maintenance and whatever surprise we encounter that day. If you speak Dutch, German, Spanish or English and want to come and help us in exchange for accommodation for 1 to 2 peopl...

I have a garden and there are always little bits that need tending, painting or polishing! Lula. my happy doggy, loves long walks & swims & giggles & cuddles too! She shall be your constant companion I imagine, and is a daily priority. I would also like to polish my old Harley and Triumph, prep and varnish an old wood chest or tend my garden and lawn as well. I enjoy my serene sanctuary in front of the beach in Cancun, Mexico :) , a lovely base just minutes from the town centre, ferry, an archaeological site and so much more, offering discovery & delights under bright blue skies! About 30km north of Ixtapa, and Zihuatanejo, on Mexico's gorgeous Pacific coast, is a small gathering of surf spots known as ondas hermosas. We built our retreat in the heart of this area, removed from the tourist hustle and steps from the sand. Like the locale, our hostel has a relaxed, natural atmosphere, but also offers state-of-the-art amenities and full-service comfort. We are not the average hostel. Designed to coexist with nature, the Hostel has tropical landscaping and amazing views. It's also completely private, with enclosed grounds and natural energy features that support the environment. We utilize a grey water system, and the latest technology in composting toilets. We are looking for different on-site volunteers to help us. The positions are: 1. Receptionist/host: Help us with the daily tasks. Managing reservations, showing the people around, answer all questions from the guests and promoting the hostel. 2. Bio-construction: Help building rooms with bio-co...

We are Anika, Néstor and Isa living in San Sebastián Río Hondo, in the mountains of south Oaxaca. We live in rural village where we have Our ranch 20 minutes walking into the forest from our house, where we are working towards starting an educational and recreational centre. This is where we need the help. We have a wooden house where we host a donkey, four goats and five ducks., and a second house made of wood and clay that we need help finishing. so for now all the volunteers would need to camp (so you need your own tent and sleeping gear) during winter it gets quite cold so you would have to have a warm sleeping bag and gear. At the very cold of night it will get to -3 then during the day under the sun can be 30 degrees. The ideal amount of hours for us working together is about 15 hours a week, and at the moment we need people who: - have experience house building with wood - have experience making garden beds from scratch - can help taking care of goats, dogs, cat, ducks, and d...

Hello Travelers, My name is Jason, I am originally from Venice Beach, CA but moved to Mazatlan, Mexico full-time in 2010. My family and I have been coming to Mazatlan since 1979, I actually went to high school here 1982-1983. We are a staple in our local community. Door is open to creative people who would like to paint, draw, sculpt inside and around the house. I will post some pictures of art generated by previous guests. Also seeking travelers who know their way around the kitchen, garden and maybe some help with building a guest house and pool in back of property. I have already begun that project but still has a way to go. Here is a drama free environment and good vibes welcome only. The eventual goal is to have walls of art all over my house created by people who have visited from all over the world. I guess I should let everyone know that given my passion for fishing fresh fish is on the menu often. There also exists the possibility of sailing and working as crew with my b...

This is a project we started a year ago, taking care of a beautiful piece of land next to the mascota river. Our goal is to be self sustainable and to give back to the mother earth as much as possible while we nurture ourselves healing by taking care of the land without all the distractions that the world offers nowadays (we have no electricity, no phone signal or internet) . Our values are Love, Compassion. Community, Education, Consciousness and Unity. We are beginners, we want to learn from others experience, we want to share our knowledge and spread our message about conservation and kindness thru example. We love volunteers and help in general, we make sure everybody who comes feels at home and welcome, all the nationalities, genre, etc, dont matter here, we all are the same and learn from each other. We all love nature and life in all kinds of presentation.

Hi! Noel, Lila, and I (Rachel) live in the pueblo magic , Todos Santos. We're looking for help with our daughter over her school holidays (mid Dec - mid Jan). Lila is 4, very creative, happy, loves to dance and make art, play in the dirt, swim...all the usual kid stuff. She's pretty independent, very strong and intelligent, but also very sweet and loves to play with others. Our house is a simple home with a good vibe. We're a 10 minute walk from the beach (though this beach is not very swimmable), 2 minutes from the grocery store, and a 7 minute drive from the town center. We don't have a car for you to use, but we're happy to give rides when we can (we do a lot of back and forth from the house to town, so it won't be hard). Accommodation will likely be in a bell tent (large clamping style tent) in the back yard (we're working on buying one now), or in the spare bedroom. You're free to use the kitchen and bathroom (we only have 1 bathroom). We have a fire pit in the backyard and get so...

My house is ...

HOLA!! I am always open to exceptional souls, and would happily receive someone special from the second week of April onward, preferably for a minimum of 2 weeks or more, open to what fills & flows gently. 😀 Artistes, gardeners, and Magic souls! Thank you for your kind consideration! This works best for single, simple souls who are flowing through and need a place to land for more than a week.

This volunteer opportunity is usually only available during the "winter" months of November through March.
