Helpers must bring tents. There is not electricity in the field (just a generator and two solar panels) but you'll find it in the main house at 800 mts. The place counts with dry toilette and hot shower. I'll be working two shifts of 4 hours each (4 in the morning, and 4 in the afternoon) and helpers are expected to work at least one of them. In the ranch there are many trees (nuts, plums, peaches, grapes, etc) and we have an orchard. I live in a farm in Open Door (Lujan) , 60 km from Buenos Aires City. I work in a permacultural proyect, i planted many fruit trees, and lost of diferent bamboo plants. I love bio - construction, specially with bamboo. i have my own veggie garden, orchard. I have lots of animals, hourses, chiken, dogs, cats, rabbits and planing to have lots of other ones. My place is very near from the train station (tren San Martin), is onlu 1 and a half hour from retiro Station.

Greetings! We are a family that built and run a lodge in the Patagonic Andes, Province of Chubut. The place is 18 kms South of the town of Corcovado, 380 kms South of Bariloche. It is located in the slope of a mountain, half way between the peaks and the valley of the Corcovado River. It is immersed in the wilderness, many streams drain out of springs, the pure water we drink, as pure as it can be! Ever since we started in 2003, we did most of the work ourselves. We are off the grid, so we use a power generator only when needed (you will need to bring a flashlight), until we put to work again the micro hydroturbine (some hard work is needed for this!). The house is heated by radiant floor and the water is heated in a big firewood boiler. There is a not so good i cell-phone coverage, but Internet connection is fine. Hello, We are a university team that works on the Laguna Blanca region, in the altiplano of the Argentine Northwest. We mainly work in archeology, museology and with the local indigenous communities. We also manage an integral, territorial type museum, for which we develop archeology as well as museology tasks. We receive volunteers in our laboratory in the city of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca to help us process the data we collect in the field (digitization of drawings, digital database and processing of excavation materials). We also develop museum related tasks, as inventory, photography and conservation tasks. The work is not complicated but we need volunteers with good PC management. In addition, we also need expert volunteers in webdesign (website of the research project), graphic design for museum brochures and topography softwares. We speak Spanish. We live in the main house and we also have four cottages for rental that will do as accommodation for our guests.
