Reach us at: florafaunauniverse(at)protonmail(dot)com

We are a group of European/Dutch people, that see themselves as communal minded people. Even more so, we are looking to have spiritual larger peaceful family and community. We started to stick to these ideas from a very early age and became more real a decade+ ago. The founders and owners of this project are 33 and 37 years old. We have a 3 year old son. Our dream is to practice communal living combined with offering travelers and members a space for being and a peaceful natural environment to allow them to relax and be themselves in relation to a force larger than ourselves. By providing less input and distractions that we have grown a bit too used to in modern society. The quality and remoteness of the Patagonian environment will instantly help you with this.

In fact our place should become a real holiday feel, a retr... more inside

75% of the total structure of our place is built with 25 decommissioned and consequently upcycled 40ft shipping containers. Between them they had traveled just over 161 million kilometres before we purchased them from the container graveyards of San Antonio and turned them into the rooms, reception, wine shop and wine bar of the hotel. The 25% of the structure of the hotel which is not recycled is attributable to the concrete foundations, retaining walls, roof and floor of the underground parking garage and winery.

Architecturally speaking this is something of a pioneering (albeit slightly mad) project. Already the hotel has racked up almost more firsts than we can count: the first sustainable hotel in the city of Valparaiso, the first ever registered winery in the city of Valparaiso, the first hotel in the southern hemisphere to make its own wine, the first hotel built with recycled containers in South America, the most awarded project in the history of Best of Wine Tourism Awa... more inside

We are a family of Chefs
We came from France (dad) and Chile (mom) and decide to create a Bed and Breakfast in a permaculture farm in this beautiful country since few years.
We bought a small wooden house in a field in Villarrica, close to the volcano Villarrica and start to rebuild the house with ecoconstruction in order to do an Ecoturism hotel with few rooms (not an industrial one).
We love nature and respect Earth so we do the best we can to work with it .
We have cultures and animals (veggies we use to feed ourselves, chicken for eggs, etc...)
And the most important we want to share this way of life. We also are musicians(not profesional but pasionate by) and we love sports(moutain bike, trecking,...)
Hope you could share with us.
