We are a small hostel in a local neighbourhood. We are excited to share local culture and experience with travellers from everywhere. We also involve in different green projects like recycling, up-cycling and green movie screening. We got some hostel awards and keep a high rating since we opened 4 years ago.

We are seeking an outgoing, social, energetic and responsible person to temporarily babysit our hostel at nights and some part time work during the day (managing hostel, leading activities, hosting guests etc). If you are seeking a high quality hostel as an alternate short term stay solution, get in touch. We are open to your length of stay but a minimum one month stay required. You're not expected to work everyday, we have flexibility for 2 nights off every week. This is a great opportunity for culture exchange, not just with HK culture but worldwide in general as we host many guests from across the region!

Hello there, Greeting from Hong Kong. We are looking for Working Holiday Visa / Working Visa holders to help out in our place!

We are a B&B located on an outlying island Cheung Chau, in Hong Kong.

Rather than staying in the heart of a city centre, this is a place which can show you the other side of Hong Kong.

Moreover, we are just minutes away from the Pier, located exactly at the heart of the island!

We are looking for an energetic helper to help us in different fields. We will provide you with a bed and meal as return.

If you are interested, please let us know. We hope you would enjoy to experience as an islander.

We are currently not taking new helpers

After great experiences hosting many helpX guests over the years, we have rented out our home in Deloraine, Australia and have moved to Hong Kong.

Instead of living in a high-rise, we have decided to sample village life and are renting the ground floor and garden of a small house. However, in Hong Kong, you are never far from the bustling city and regular minibuses run to a main centre and the metro every 15 minutes.

We are a same-sex couple and have a delightful 3 year old (Bastian) who keeps us on our toes, and are expecting a new baby in November. Bastian has just started pre-school and is learning Spanish and Mandarin. Andrew is a vet working for City University of HK and also the HK Government, Steven is an artist (currently full-time dad). We have both travelled fairly extensively prior to our arrival in Hong Kong.

We would like to offer homestay with meals in exchange for some help as an au pair, and to help us make t... more inside

Hi everyone, Greeting from Hong Kong?? We are in the center of Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui. Stay in the heart of Hong Kong with an urban vibe at the Kowloon district! A contemporary crash pad designed for the modern day backpackers, just minutes away from the spectacular harbor front!
We are looking for an artistic helper to help us to draw our wall. Whatever you like, we will provide you with a bed and an environment which is like a home:)

If you are interested, please tell us your idea. Hope you guys can stay with us and enjoy the Hong Kong.

We'd love to have you come stay at our site! We are laid back and love to teach others as well as learn from your experiences. We grow mostly papaya, bananas, green veggies, yams, cassava, potatoes, and pineapples. We're excited to show you around Lantau Island where we live (called the 'green lung' of Hong Kong).

Our island is 80% protected parkland and one of the oldest geological islands in south Asia, so there's great hiking, Buddhist and cultural sites, beaches, history, and adventure tourism. When you aren't working, anywhere on the island is less than a half hour bus ride away and getting downtown to the urban chaos takes less than an hour!

Our site is literally across the street from the beach and in a beautiful natural area with no neighbors. We have a natural stream fed swimming pool, terraced gardens, lots of fruit trees, some lovely pets, and plenty of jungle. We're on the same island as the HK airport, but it feels like a whole different world.

Hello helpers,

*Sorry guys! I'm not able to host people currently, but we can meet up for lunch/dinner or sightseeing if you like;-)*

Welcome to Hong Kong! This is an amazing city. You can experience Chinese and Western culture here. If you are foodies, it would be a good place for you as there are lots of various types of restaurants you can choose from, like dimsim, Hong Kong local foods (fishball, egg dart...).

Due to the apartment size, I can only host one helper at one time. The work is easy, I just need some help on my English or Mandarin and some cleansing tasks, 4 hours per day with one day off per week. Then you are free the rest of the time. If you want, we can go hiking or sightseeing together.

Contact me if you are interested.

No smoking and alcohol please.
