Hi there. We are looking for a couple to come to our place from December 30.
We live on an orchard 12 minutes north of Kerikeri, in the Bay of Islands, growing blueberries. We would love help in the orchard during our blueberry picking season. We live 15 minutes from town by car.

We ask our helpers for 4 hours work a day, except Sundays, in exchange for accommodation and 3 meals a day. Please bring wet weather gear in case it rains. Free Wifi is also available. You will have your own separate accommodation, with a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and laundry.

We offer friendly hospitality, have travelled overseas ourselves, enjoy meeting people from other cultures and sport. We are a Christian family and do not work on Sundays, but ask for staying that day you please work 2 hours in exchange for accommodation and organise your own meals. Murray works on the orchard, and Sue teaches English.

This is an exclusive farm stay with 2 self catering cottages (up to 14 guests). A big organic veggie garden, little orchard and big sup tropical garden makes it quite unique.
We also have a big hydroponic lettuce set up with 10,000 - 11,000 lettuces. Operates all year around. Always great food!!

I am taking on helpers all year round.
The helpers are asked to help four and a half hours for every night they are staying here. I am very flexible with this schedule if you want a day off during the week. Minimum stay is one week.

I live on a 4ha orchard on which I am growing plums, garlic, feijoas and also vegetables for the local market. So the helpers are assisting mainly with weeding, picking, pruning and help me to run my roadside shop.

The work is mainly outside, sometimes it`s wet and it is important that you can bring wet weather gear. I will provide gumboots and gloves if needed. The work is in general quiet easy but can also be physical, so I need people that don`t mind getting their hands dirty. The tasks vary depending on the time of year. I am quiet happy to put your washing through the washing machine with no charge.
I offer free Wifi. There is also the opportunity to use my tools for those helpers who want to outfit their car to a camper while in N... more inside

We are a easy going couple in our thirties who have a 16 acre farm that we brought nearly five years ago. As we now have a 4 year old gorgeous wee girl, and my partner works long hours in his family business, we could really do with some help on the farm to continue building our dream.
A friend of ours also lives here with his partner in his tiny house on the property.
We also have a couple of caravans and some cabins onsite.
We started on our property with only a caravan and a bare block. We now have built a shack around our caravan and have some other infrastructure in place like large chook coups, gardens, compost toilet and compost bins, dirt bike track, woodshed, yards and more.
We have currently built some new cabins for us to live in and our shack we used to live in is now a self contained helper quarters, with kitchen, pool table, dart board and tv.
We could do with a hand with painting and other building type jobs/projects.
We all follow similar ideas for the fa... more inside

Looking for one person includes free accommodation and share food cost. Turkey for Xmas :) Home baked bread, can teach you how to make, very easy and the best bread. I like to cook and have a few favorites such as Mousaka and Cremovo chicken. Mainly delicious healthy meals but home made Pizza too on bread baking days.

Tasks include some painting on a 45' yacht now cruising the east coast NZ so combine sailing at the same time.

Current boarding is Whangarei sailing soon to go see the whales.

Whats it like sailing with us? well take three days last week. Anchored of Kawau, a hike along the bush track to the old copper mine, superb views with crystal blue ocean contrasting with vivid greens. The copper mine had blue walls! next day it was too windy there so motored over to the mainland. At night the wind died and just before bed I went on deck. there were all these glows in the water, I made a splash to see the phosphorescence and they all bunched into one and the glow drifte... more inside
