Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.

Kia Ora, Hello and Guten Tag (we love Germans but you dont have to be from Germany)!

Next available time slots:
24th January -

Typically we take people for approx 10 days or so, so we get a chance to know each other better.

We need a couple or two friends to help us (2 hours each day for each person) painting the outside of our house if the weather is fine. Other work includes working in the garden and doing general tidy up work. If the weather is really bad, there is plenty to do inside (cooking a meal, baking, laundry etc).

We are a Kiwi / German family with 3x kids (7 yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs).

In exchange for EACH person working 2 HOURS per day (eg 14 hours each per week):
we offer a double room with queen size bed (and electric blanket for the colder months!), internet (NOT unlimited sorry so not too much streaming movies / music), and a small fridge in the kitchen for your use.

We ask you to bring and cook your own food, as we eat kid-friendly meals and tend to... more inside

A home in a cluster of townhouses 15mins walk from the Sylvia Park shopping center. On Mt Wellington Otahuhu boarder .

There are plenty of public transport options. As bad as public transport is in Auckland.

We are a mainly vegetarian home , simply because it is better . If people have special diets then happy to accommodate where possible, with supplies. But it's better to cook your own food.

We have some gardening, painting and cleaning.

We want some help establishing some self watering planters for vegetables.

There is also a building and fences that need painting.

Flexible as to how long people want to stay. I think it would suit someone new to New Zealand who wants to be close to the city to set themselves up for traveling.

The Auckland car fair is close by for those wanting to buy or sell a car or van.

Most people work 3-4 hours a day. Just try.

There is also plenty of work in the area with many business at the Sylvia Park shopping center looking f... more inside
