Would you like a great place to live and work for the next few weeks or months. Hi we own an Organic Herbs and Seedling and Organic Cut Flower Company which we run from our small farm in Warkworth. We supply Matakana Farmers Market, several local restaurants and shops with Seedlings and Cut Flowers.
We are situated in the Mahurangi Range 7km north of Warkworth, which is renowned for its scenic trail walks. We are also a short distance from the picturesque Omaha beach with its beautiful white sand.
We supply food and modern self-contained accommodation for two people and in return expect four to five hours work per day which gives plenty of free time to explore. The tasks would include cutting grass in our orchards, garden maintenance, painting and working in the cut flower gardens.

If this sounds good to you please contact us for availability.

Regards Craig and Mandy.

Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 35-40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 11 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.

We live on a (potentially!) beautiful property on Waiheke Island. We care about the environment and aspire towards more sustainable living, minimising waste, treasuring the resources of food, water, soil and clean air that are so easily taken for granted. There are about 12-14 people onsite from several countries, including retired people and younger people in full time jobs. We are looking for help in an ongoing project of ecological restoration on a steep slope on the property, including removal of invasive weeds and building terraces using a permaculture approach. Some of the work is heavy (e.g. carrying mulch uphill). There is also cleaning work and painting work. We would like a helper or two for 1-2 weeks to put in 2.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We provide accommodation, some basic food staples and garden produce as available - we sometimes cook and eat communally but people mostly cook for themselves. This is strictly a non-smoking, minimal alcohol property, and for the sake... more inside

Kia Ora, Hello and Guten Tag (we love Germans but you dont have to be from Germany)!

Next available time slots:
24th January -

Typically we take people for approx 10 days or so, so we get a chance to know each other better.

We need a couple or two friends to help us (2 hours each day for each person) painting the outside of our house if the weather is fine. Other work includes working in the garden and doing general tidy up work. If the weather is really bad, there is plenty to do inside (cooking a meal, baking, laundry etc).

We are a Kiwi / German family with 3x kids (7 yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs).

In exchange for EACH person working 2 HOURS per day (eg 14 hours each per week):
we offer a double room with queen size bed (and electric blanket for the colder months!), internet (NOT unlimited sorry so not too much streaming movies / music), and a small fridge in the kitchen for your use.

We ask you to bring and cook your own food, as we eat kid-friendly meals and tend to... more inside
