We live on a beautiful bush property with sea views and a short walk from the world famous surf breaks Whale Bay and Indicators. Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors, surfing and getting away from the crowds.

We have a cute little self-contained cabin suitable for single person or couple. The cabin has electricity and its own kitchenette and bedroom, the bathroom is shared. We will provide accommodation for 3 hours help a day. You can work longer on one day and less on the next if you want to explore the area etc.

We are looking for a person or couple who are happy to help us with finishing our experimental engineered structure (geodesic dome) that has council consent. We are currently looking for a welder to help us with the next stage of the project.

We love Raglan, enjoy watersports and are happy to help you have a great time!

Thanks Anni & Ben

We are 25 minutes from Hobbiton, and 45 minutes from Rotorua and Mount Maunganui. We are also close to many biking and tramping tracks and some hot mineral pools.
We would like to share our home with travellers in exchange for help around our place. We would prefer couples or two friends even though one person is ok too. Wireless internet is available.
We would prefer shorter stays of about one week, but this is negotiable.

My husband and I work outside of the home; I am a Naturopath/Herbalist and Martin is into IT. Our children are at University, and we have a cat, dog and chickens. We have a big organic garden and grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Some of things that we need help with would be, gardening, mowing lawns, housekeeping, painting, planting trees and forming paths at the beach, and cooking, preserving if you are that way incli... more inside

Jobs include feeding out to the animals at night and in the morning, chopping wood, garden maintenance, fencing, house work and cooking. Also if you are a builder or mechanic we have paid jobs.

I have a 9 unit motel and holiday park which accommodates campervans/tents/and buses. We can offer a self contained motel room or an on site caravan, free wifi, and meals in exchange for general cleaning duties/maintenanace work and painting.Would love to have someone for a long term, but of course we welcome any proposals.Putaruru is close to "everywhere" and though not essential, having your own vehicle will allow you to enjoy so much more of what the Waikato has to offer.Rotorua,Taupo,Mt Maunganui and Waitomo caves are all within an hours driving.Locally the famous "Blue springs",Hobbitton and Waikato river walks feature and we will be able to arrange transport to some places if you do not have a vehicle.I am maori and I think I can provide other perceptions and cultural perspectives to your visit.

Looking for one helper to look after my house in the coming winter! Someone who would like to do some house work cleaning etc, and some of the cooking when I am busy working. Also maybe required to look after my lovely dog occasionally, you will love to have him as company.

I used to teach international students, Europeans, Asians, etc, I am keen to meet anyone from other countries and share my experience with you as well!

The ideal helper must be OK with kids, I have two boys and one girl (17, 14 and 9) and they are with me 60% of the time, but you don't need to look after them.

You will also be welcome to join the kids and me during some family activities so we can have fun.

It will be very easy work, but you are expected to do a decent job while the basic skills and process will be shown if necessary.

You will have your own accommodation, great food and unlimited free wifi, in exchange of about 20 hours work per week, and I could be quite flexible with the worki... more inside
