Come and stay in a place where good bread and children are cherished!

We are a young family of five (kids aged 3, 6 and 7) who love to travel and love meeting travellers from all over the world.
We run a small artisan bakery with a strong focus on sourdough breads in Waihi in summer, in winter we go sailing in the tropics.
Help out in our German bakery, read the kids a book, help us with maintenance of our sailing yacht or help with household chores... we love having young travellers around, when we are on land during the NZ summer.
We live in Waikino, close to beautiful karangahake Gorge, so ideally you would have your own transport. But this is not essential. :)
Accomodation is in your own room.

We would love to have you! ONE person only and non smokers only, please!

** 1 HOUR WEEDING TO STAY IN YOUR OWN TEENY TINY CABIN**

Hello, we are Chris, Susie and our sons Fergal (2) and Larkin(0). We have a small 2 acre section 5 minutes drive out of Raglan town that is in the process of regenerating as bush with thousands of native trees planted.

Work is WEEDING and FREEING TREES FROM WEEDS.

This is sweaty, physical, muddy and prickly work but for only 1 hour of self-directed work per day it is perfect setup for many people wanting some Raglan time :)

Extra points if you know something above native trees so you can help nurture our little baby trees.

We can offer you accommodation (no food) in your own very basic 2 bed rustic cabin (6sqm) with composting toilet and outside shower in exchange for 1 hour help per day.

If you don't have your own car then we can provide you a bicycle however it is a hilly 20 minute bike ride to town and a very hilly 1 hour bike ride to the surf so please bear this in mind if you want to be surfing every ... more inside
