Hi everyone!
We have a beautiful property a short walk away from a world famous surf beach. We live 45 minutes from Hamilton and 25 minutes from Raglan. Our area is very remote - we have some neighbours but there are no shops here, just farmland. We have lots of animals including horses and dogs.
We are looking for a person or two people who are happy to help us in the garden or maintenance around the house. Our property suits people who enjoy the outdoors and surfing, hiking, walking, animals, solitude.
You can stay in your campervan, or we have a spare bedroom in the house.
We prefer people to arrive on a Friday - spend the weekend and then if we get along well together then you are welcome to stay 1 - 2 weeks. Due to lots of animals and the way we work, our household best suits early risers and early sleepers.
We would like you to help us for 4 hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation. You can work longer on one day and less on the next if you want to explore the ... more inside

We're a young (one toddler, one baby) family who love surfing, music and travel. We live in Raglan West walking distance to town and a quick drive to the surf (we'd be happy to give you a lift). We have a good sized spare room for a single or couple and are looking for someone to help with simple jobs as we landscape our garden, and clean/tidy up our house. We're looking for short stays and would agree terms when in contact. Cheers!

My German partner and I (a kiwi) would love to share our beautiful 1903 home, (NZ classic architecture of this time), with some willing helpers.

We are a couple in our 40s and enjoy socialising. My son who is 26 is at home for a short time from university. So we are a happy family of 3 adults. Holly travels a lot for work, so wont be guaranteed to be here during your stay.

We try and have a healthy lifestyle, we have free range chicken, raise our own meat, have veggie gardens, fruit trees etc, and soon hope to milk our house cow, who has a new very sweet calf.

We have a lot of animals on our small farm including a pet peacock for entertainment! Sorry but the horses in the photo aren't here anymore.

We expect around four hours work per person, per day you stay as an exchange, plus participation at meal times. We are quite flexible as to when you to do your work, and try to offer a variety of jobs to suit what you enjoy doing or want to learn about.

We are looking for a fun mature person to join us who has a passion for the environment, technology and/or education.

We’re a not-for-profit enviro-tech lodge and education centre with the goal to make the world a much better place through education and a bit of technology.

You will be staying at the lodge at Whale Bay. It is nestled in the bush overlooking the Tasman Sea. It's magic.

We cater for school and private groups wanting to experience the magic of Mount Karioi, the tranquil bush and the recharge of the west coast.

Ideally you have some experience as a teacher or with education, as we have school groups coming to our lodge to learn about the environment.

We are looking for a mature individual or couple as we will be in care of young people.

Next vacancy mid-late November.

We are a family with two lively boys (5 and 7), living and working on a large Sheep and Beef Station. As part of working here we get a house with a lovely garden and space for lambs, cats, dogs, calves and an old horse.

We always welcome help with the house and various jobs around the place. The activities at home and on the farm varies depending on the season (harvest fruit and vegetables, firewood, spring clean, gardening, help at the local school and community events, etc) but there is ALWAYS two boys wanting to play. We are building a tree hut, play with the animals and go for walks over the farm and in the bush. In the summer we go swimming and fishing on the black sand beach at Port Waikato. We go to Pukekohe town a couple of times a week for groceries and Kindergarten. If you like to cook we would love to experience some of the food from your own country.

Mum and boys speak Swedish as well as English. We traveled a bit before having c... more inside

I have a 9 unit motel and holiday park which accommodates campervans/tents/and buses. We can offer a self contained motel room or an on site caravan, free wifi, and meals in exchange for general cleaning duties/maintenanace work and painting.Would love to have someone for a long term, but of course we welcome any proposals.Putaruru is close to "everywhere" and though not essential, having your own vehicle will allow you to enjoy so much more of what the Waikato has to offer.Rotorua,Taupo,Mt Maunganui and Waitomo caves are all within an hours driving.Locally the famous "Blue springs",Hobbitton and Waikato river walks feature and we will be able to arrange transport to some places if you do not have a vehicle.I am maori and I think I can provide other perceptions and cultural perspectives to your visit.Paid work available for long term helpers.
Need help to update our website and willing to pay someone.
