HI, we are a family of four, Mum and Dad and 2 children. We are creating a permaculture farm in the beautiful Karangahake Gorge between Waihi and Paeroa. We have recently built a new home and have now moved in. Unfortunately we don't yet have special accommodation for guests so we prefer to take helpers who have a van or tent for sleeping in. Everything else you can share with us in the house, eating, washing and chill out time.

We are planting a food forest as well as cultivating annual gardens to grow as much food as we can. We also have pigs, chickens and beef cows. We generally need help with the animals and gardens. There is still some painting work to do on the house and small building projects.

There are beaches and beautiful rivers and bush walking close by. We look forward to meeting you and sharing some of our time with you.

I am a mum with 3 kids. We live in beautiful Raglan in a small house on a 1.5 acre block 15 minute walk from town and a 15 min walk to the beach. My children are 10, 5 and 3. We have a lovely cat and a sweet but naughty teenage dog :) I have a streetwear brand and I work from home.
We are a non-conservative, fun, slightly chaotic family looking for a happy, easy going female who loves children and can cope with a little chaos, help out with some house work and child minding/dog walking and cook dinner twice a week. Must be a non smoker, have a drivers license and speak fluent English.
We have a nice sleepout room about 20 metres from the house, (bathroom is inside the house). We look forward to hearing from you!
*sorry about the sideways photos! It wouldn’t let me fix them :-/

We live on a 20 arce lifestyle property in rural North Waikato. It is a small but busy property. My partner and I have 3 children, 1 girl aged 13 (currently away at school) and 2 boys aged 12 and 10. We raise beef cattle and have a number of horses and ponies. In the summer we make hay ourselves on the property. I also run a business from home which I produce and sell chutneys and sauces. I work away from home locally 2-3 days a week (usually during school hours). We ride horses and ponies and the boys ride motorbikes. I give riding lessons and we have an arena and also access to large areas of farmland for riding over. At times we travel to competitions. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our family activities and watch the children`s sports. The work we require is varied but does involve looking after animals incl. Horses, dogs, cats and chickens. There is always housework to do and occasionally childcare, sometimes cooking if you like to. There is also ... more inside

Hi, We bought the property with a small forest, cut the trees, milled the wood and built a house. The hard yards are done but we need help with our small lifestyle block in Te Uku 7 mins from Raglan.

Daniel is an Architect and Carpenter and we have an office from home and I am the house manager (in other words... mother). It would be great to have some help around the house both inside and out. We need help currently mowing & weeding around a paddock of Xmas trees. I would love someone who is super organised to organise ME! Cupboards, kids toys and things that need a spring sort out etc. We also have a tree house draw bridge to be built so a BUILDER/JOINER to finish it would be fabulous. A travelling couple would be even better!! Sometimes we ask for a bit of help keeping an little eye on the live wire kids. (6 and 9 years old) and just general household stuff.

We have a stunning guest room within the house to offer and ask for 4 hours a day work in exchange for food ... more inside

We run a largely organic property but with a racing stable on site. We are situated on the banks of Lake Karapiro in the Waikato, approx 7 minutes from the town of Cambridge. The Lodges' main activity is the breeding and training of Thoroughbred horses for racing. We also run sheep and cattle for homekill meat and to assist in the healthy management of pasture. Helpers have their own bedroom and bathroom in a beautiful rammed earth home overlooking the lake. Free access to wifi, kayaks and fishing equipment.
Equestrian experience an asset. Visitors will be expected to work 4-5 hrs per day 5 days per week in exchange for all meals and accommodation. Gardening, bnb housekeeping, some construction, farm work. Some riding if experienced.
A couple for January would be great.
Use of a car may be arranged with license.

Couples or Females only please (sorry boys! But my partner often travels for work, so I'm home alone).

My German partner and I (a kiwi) would love to share our beautiful 1903 home, (NZ classic architecture of this time), with some willing helpers.

We are a couple in our 40s with no children and enjoy socialising. So far our guests have loved coming and staying here.

There's a little but not too much to see and do around Hamilton - Therefore we recommend a say of a week or two at most, dependent on how much time you have in NZ.

We try and have a healthily lifestyle, we have free range chicken, geese, vegi gardens, fruit.

We don't have any children at home but we do have a beautiful pet peacock for entertainment. Sorry but the horses in the photo aren't here anymore. We now have two steers, sheep, lambs, rabbits, pigs and birds.

Our spare room has 1 double bed, it's a very beautiful room and is next to the family bathroom. We have an additional room with... more inside

We live on a small lifestyle block in a historic converted old creamery, 10 minutes from Matamata and central to Hamilton and Tauranga.
We are 25 minutes from Hobbiton, and 45 minutes from Rotorua and Mount Maunganui. We are also close to many biking and tramping tracks and some hot mineral pools.
We would like to share our home with travellers in exchange for help around our place. We would prefer couples or two friends even though one person is ok too. Wireless internet is available.
We would prefer shorter stays of about one week, but this is negotiable.

My husband and I work outside of the home; I am a Naturopath/Herbalist and Martin is into IT. Our children are at University, and we have a cat, dog and chickens. We have a big organic garden and grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Some of things that we need help with would be, gardening, mowing lawns, housekeeping, painting, planting trees and forming paths at the beach, and cooking, preserving if you are that way incli... more inside

Thank you for looking at our profile.

We enjoy people with a good sense of humour, out going and enthusiastic helpers.

In March 2014 my husband and I moved to Morrinsville from Marlborough, in the South Island, where we hosted many HelpX helpers and we have continued to host since our move here.

We mainly have horses, we are breeding warm blood horses, based on European bloodlines. Our son show jumps, and is setting up a equine rehabilitation centre on another property not far away. He has the horses that are in work.

Besides the horses, we also have have a dog and two really cute kittens, also hens and a small mob of sheep and cattle.

You have warm comfortable beds, home cooked meals, and join us in our daily lives. Things you will be required to do may include some general farm maintenance, don`t mind getting your hands dirty, along with gardening and housework. We are pretty easy going.

Having your own transport, would be a big advantage as there are many... more inside
