We live on a small lifestyle block in a historic converted old creamery, 10 minutes from Matamata and central to Hamilton and Tauranga.
We are 25 minutes from Hobbiton, and 45 minutes from Rotorua and Mount Maunganui. We are also close to many biking and tramping tracks and some hot mineral pools.
We would like to share our home with travellers in exchange for help around our place. We would prefer couples or two friends even though one person is ok too. Wireless internet is available.
We would prefer shorter stays of about one week, but this is negotiable.

My husband and I work outside of the home; I am a Naturopath/Herbalist and Martin is into IT. Our children are at University, and we have a cat, dog and chickens. We have a big organic garden and grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Some of things that we need help with would be, gardening, mowing lawns, housekeeping, painting, planting trees and forming paths at the beach, and cooking, preserving if you are that way incli... more inside

** 1 HOUR WEEDING TO STAY IN YOUR OWN TEENY TINY CABIN**

Hello, we are Chris, Susie and our sons Fergal (2) and Larkin(0). We have a small 2 acre section 5 minutes drive out of Raglan town that is in the process of regenerating as bush with thousands of native trees planted.

Work is WEEDING and FREEING TREES FROM WEEDS.

This is sweaty, physical, muddy and prickly work but for only 1 hour of self-directed work per day it is perfect setup for many people wanting some Raglan time :)

Extra points if you know something above native trees so you can help nurture our little baby trees.

We can offer you accommodation (no food) in your own very basic 2 bed rustic cabin (6sqm) with composting toilet and outside shower in exchange for 1 hour help per day.

If you don`t have your own car then we can provide you a bicycle however it is a hilly 20 minute bike ride to town and a very hilly 1 hour bike ride to the surf so please bear this in mind if you want to be surfing every ... more inside

My wife Sarah and I and our 1 year old daughter live on a small lifestyle block with our Great Dane dog, donkeys and chickens. We have a small 36m2 dwelling on our property perfect for people to stay in (separate from our house).

We have just finished building so are in the process of putting in gardens, landscaping etc. We would love some help with tidying up the property, renovate the sleep-out (extra bracing, add extra windows ect), painting, making a chicken house, putting in gardens, staining decks etc etc.. the list goes on!

We are situated approximately 1/2 an hour to Thames and 1/2 hour to Paeroa, an hour to both Hamilton or Auckland so are very central.

Would love some help with this!

Accommodation and a simple breakfast provided for 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week.
