Hello, Kia ora and welcome!

Will you be the first person/people from your part of the world to set foot in this area?

We are on a beautiful remote wilderness bush property that has a stream running through it which then flows into a river at the front of the property. Its a very peaceful valley and to us it feels like paradise! We live off the grid and are learning self reliance in food in our journey to self sufficiency. We are situated a 55km drive from Opotiki/shops. Or a 2˝ hour drive via Motu Road from Gisborne (see below).

We offer you a truly unique opportunity to escape the 'modern' world for a while, for those who seek to get off the beaten track! This lifestyle offers the chance to learn many aspects of getting back to basics as in hands on, and growing your own food.

This is an idealistic position for couples and women. And those who plan ahead :)

We need your help now! All you need is an open mind and be easy-going (like us and our neighbours), a good l... more inside

Greetings from Rotorua, world-famous for Maori cultural experiences, geothermal activity, spas, hot pools, nature parks, biking and outdoor adventures. We live in Fairy Springs with Mount Ngongotaha and the Skyline Gondola to the Luge visible from the driveway. 3 minutes walk to a nearby supermarket and the Baybus suburban bus stops.

For solo travellers or a group of two, we have a spare bedroom with bunks (a double bed & a single bed). Shared use of our kitchen and bathroom, immaculately clean bedding & towels provided, unlimited highspeed fibre wifi and access to laundry facilities.

**CURRENT PRIORITIES: scanning and filing, blockwork (fence repair), basic carpentry skills (pallet projects), drywall installation, painting, lawn pimping :) **

This very modest accommodation is available in exchange for an equally modest amount of your time. Two options: 2 hours per person per night, buy & prepare your own food; or 5 hours per person per night, includes meals.

Hi
I am located just out of Katikati on a 3 acre block which I share with kune kune pigs, chickens, 2 dogs and 2 cats so someone who likes animals is a must.
Unlimited wifi, Netflix and Lightbox.
The property has spray free limes, avocado, apple and fig trees.
There are plenty of great hikes around the area with hot pools minutes away.
Own transport would be ideal for you to be able to explore the area and nearby beaches in your free time.

As I work full time while studying part time I need help to get the property in shape
At this stage cutting down trees, pruning, painting and walking the dogs is required. This can be very physical work so you must enjoy outdoor work.

As I work in Tauranga I could pick you up after work if you don't have transport.
4 hours work per day for food and accommodation which is the spare room with a queen size bed in my house.

happy to offer less hours if you would like to purchase your own food. Happy to negotiate terms.

We running an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle and a few pigs. And we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us.
Oh man and we love to get to know different cultures and people.
We grow and eat our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider. The brewing season has started again and there's cider, wine and various beers to taste.
We also finally started to make our own tea and we call it Lotzlong ;)
A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle.
You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at 7 am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry pigs and the dogs (otherwise there's a lot of hungry noise around the house) and work starts at 7... more inside

Looking for a couple to come and help with gardening and a few odd jobs around the house from about 25 Aug onwards.

We offer food and accommodation in return for 4 hours of help per person per day or accommodation only in return for 2 hours per day.

Flexible as to times and you can also work longer one day and have a day off.

Non-smokers only please.

We are an easy going family consisting of mum, dad and our young son. Nathalie is a teacher and Kerry is an accountant, both working mainly from home. Our son is homeschooled.

Katikati is a friendly small town in the Bay of Plenty, 15 minute drive from Waihi Beach, 30 min to Tauranga (bus or car). We are on the main bus route from Auckland to Tauranga. There is a bicycle for you to use to explore the area if you haven`t got a car.

Our home is myself and my two amazing children 18,(eldest working full time) and 12 years old)two dogs and one ferocious cat named Christmas Pudding, four chickens and a big garden so I am always happy to get some help.We have a good sense of humor and like to share our kiwi culture. The area is great for cycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. I will supply great food and company and a lot of local knowledge of the beautiful places to visit in our close proximity, in return for 4-5 hours of help per day. I prefer helpers who have a car but I can pick up in Murupara if necessary. There is a bus from Rotorua to Murupara 3 times a week.
