We reply to every email so we hope you will grant us the same courtesy.

If we offer you a place to stay and the dates are not suitable, we would still appreciate a reply to tell us you cannot stay.

On the other days you will be helping with gardening, housework, pets and other chores.

Looking for anyone with building, gardening, painting and or maintenance experience to help us develop our lovely property with lake, town & mountain views only 4 minutes drive from Taupo town centre. Your own transport is helpful though not necessary.
We are a family who thoroughly enjoy our busy life. We have 6 grown up children, 2 who still live on the property (1 with her Argentine partner & their daughters & another daughter who lives next door to us) & we have 10 grandchildren.
We try to be as self sufficient as possible, so it is the 'good life' with some extras. We have chickens, 2 very friendly dogs & a cat.
We need help with maintaining the cottages, vegetable gardens, planting, pruning, fencing, painting, and housework. So whatever you enjoy the most is the best thing for you to do. You can eat well & if you are into cooking or baking you are most welcome! We love all food and thoroughly enjoy different cultures, different ways of cooking & are more than happy to sw... more inside

Hi we are Brian and Verona - both kiwis - we are hard workers but love to relax and have a bit of quietness at the end of a busy day. If your interested in staying somewhere that feels like a home away from home one of our places could be right for you. We love hearing peoples travel stories from around the world and helping people discover NZ life and our beautiful country. We prefer non smokers at both our properties. Because there is limited public transport in Raetihi/Ohakune its best if you have your own car making sightseeing easier for you.

We have 2 places we call home - both listed on airbnb - 1 located in a rural township called Raetihi (perfect for Tongariro crossing and other national park adventures) and one close to the sea in Castlecliff, Whanganui.

In Raetihi we have great outdoor adventures close by - tramping, swimming in the river, mountain biking you will love it here.

In Whanganui we are close to "the mole" a local surf spot, interesting history & ... more inside

Would you like a nice relaxing winter time where you could get up and ski or stay warm in bed watching Netfix ?
Do you want to do some skiing, do yoga, read some books relax and have some time to yourself ? but have a little bit of work to do once or twice a week ?
Nestled at the bottom of the Turoa side of Mt Ruapehu Mountain is a small settlement called Rangataua with a village hall and the infamous Harrods shop.
The village is quiet with holiday guests generally enjoying dinners and drinks inside the lodges that scatters the Rangataua settlement after a days skiing.
I am looking for a key person or couple who want to live for a while ( duration depends on when ) with a little bit of work.
The work involves cleaning and servicing two lodges within my accommodation business.
This entails preparing lodges for incoming guests ( lighting wood burners turning on lights)
Cleaning making beds after departure of corporate families and professionals skiing on Mt Ruapehu.
The lodges... more inside

Hi,
we are a family of 4, with 2 busy children aged 11 & 7, we live 10 minutes north of Turangi and 20 mins south of Taupo, on a 1/4 acre section with our friendly dog & cat.

We would love to offer our sleepout, which is situated next to a bathroom that has a toilet, shower washing machine & sink. You may have to share the bathroom with other travellers as we sometimes have guests staying in their motorhomes or camping.
We are needing some help with general cleaning, wood chopping, gardening, sanding furniture, lawn mowing, entertaining the kids and tree pruning.
If you like cooking then we would love for you to cook some meals for us too!

We are situated just 2 mins walk from Lake Taupo & the Tauranga-Taupo River in a very private & beautiful setting.

If you would like to stay with us we recommend having your own transport as we are isolated but we do have a general store, garage & a fish & chips takeaway shop a few minutes walk away.

We are very flexible as to wh... more inside

Kia Ora,
I am passionate about life, plant based food, caring and sharing and healing and many things actually.
In my food truck, I sell Plantbased Smoothies, hot drinks, Raw Vegan Cakes and other delicious plant based food. I need some help preparing food for the food truck as well as some gardening and cleaning around my home.
On Saturdays I take my food truck to the Taupo Market. There are some events coming up such as festivals where I would be grateful for some extra help.
There maybe an opportunity to help at one of the local health food shops on your stay, so you can have a look there as well, learn more about raw foods.
In exchange I can offer a private room and some delicious healthy vegan meals at my lovely home in Taupo. My husband and I have two dogs, so you have to be fine with dogs.
There are a lot of things to do around Taupo, such as natural hot pools, the Huka Falls, bush walks, swimming in the Lake.
If that sounds interesting for you, get in contact with... more inside
