Hi Guys. Looking for helpers from 13th October. We are chaning properties on the 31st January so a variety of cleaning, gardening and packing as well as usual farm work. Busy time!
Variety of farm, house and garden work available at all times. Looking for non smoking people that enjoy physical work, preferably couples. Plenty of farm work/ stock work, Shearing drenching, weighing sheep and cattle. All that is required is a genuine desire to experience a working farm. This is not a lifestyle block. You will be doing, not watching. Please view our references and email us if interested. Pick up from bus in Dannevirke if needed. We are here for a good time but getting the jobs done is important. So a sense of humour and commitment is needed. Unable to cater for specific dietary needs.
Also we have no cell phone reception, but we do have Wifi at the main house.

We are a 350ha sheep and beef farm located near to the town of Dannevirke in the Hawk... more inside

Sorry, we are not taking any helpx at this time.

We are a family of five running a sheep and beef farm in Rissington, just out of Napier. (three children aged 5, 8 and 9)

We have comfortable self contained riverside accommodation that would suit an energetic, couple, or one/two motivated people travelling together who are keen to help with getting our beautiful riverside accommodation business up and running whilst learning about our culture and family along the way!

We are looking for help with the following; spraying down and washing outside of buildings, prep for painting interior of rooms, washing windows, gardening and general maintenance around the property.
Your own car would be an advantage. Some basic food will be provided, with some evening meals being with our family. In return for your help, we would love to welcome you into our close knit family and community here in Rissington. We can provide you with an experience within a rural farming lifestyle of which ... more inside

Hi everyone.
We had such a great time last summer with our visitors that came. Some just didn't want to leave which was really great. The weather is really starting to heat up and we would love to share our lovely sunny house with you. Tony drives for Intercity buses so sees a lot of you overseas visitors coming to the Hawkes Bay. Stay on board, and come to our place. We would love to have you. We have two dogs, two cats, ducks, chickens and 3 plus 1 sheep(the next door neighbors sheep Lilly grazes with ours). We love having people stay. And are very interested in talking to you about your home country. And telling you about ours. We expect you to do approximately 3 to 4 hours work per day. We are flexible. you may want to work 6 to 8 hours one day, so as you can do a day trip the next. Or do an hour or so in the morning before it gets too hot.And then some more in the evening once it is a bit cooler. In return you will get a comfortable bed and plenty of food.
We mainly need help ... more inside

We are an organically based beekeeping and honey processing company adhering to Rudolf Steiner principles of natural living. Processing our own product allows us to supply an unheated product, ensuring an undamaged enzyme count with botanicals and a complex flavour to the pallet.

The volunteer work will involve a variety of cleaning up hive gear, helping to jar and process honey, labelling, making beeswax candles, propolis creams, preparing the bee gear, building and (in the right season) visiting the hives.

Our work exchange is 24 hours a week for full board and 3 healthy meals a day. We have a vegetable garden that you can harvest from for meals.

Very relaxed and easy going environment/people, great food and good company. Only a short bus or car ride into town, not too far to bike but probably a little too far to walk. We have 4 bicycles available to use. Around the Hawkes Bay are 168 kilometers of bike trails, many right along the beautiful coastline.

Hi there!

We are looking for helpers starting March 15

Come and experience our Organic Farm, conveniently located within 15 mins drive of everything :-) beach, river, shops etc. Hiking trails right next door and you can enjoy beautiful views from the lookout. View - Tauroa.com
The property is run as a sheep and cattle farm and also grows feijoas. There are also 6 residential houses on the property.
As the owner, I am looking to host people at our house to share the experience of this magical location and get some help with painting, a few renovation type activities, odd house/building maintenance jobs, gardening etc. working together with me.
There is a lovely sleep out available that offers more privacy and access to the swimming pool, perfect during summer.
Helpers would ideally have their own transport.
We are avid travelers, have lived in various different countries and we enjoy meeting people from other countries.
Look forward to meeting you!
Andrew Martin
