We may have a vacancy for 1 female helper (sharing a twin room with another female helper) from NOW until up to Tuesday 6th October.

We also have a vacancy from October 10th until November 18th (or for part of that time).

We are also seeking a dog sitter for our cute fluffy cavoodle September 25-28 and October 24-28. Duties will mainly include spending time with the cute dog and walking him twice a day. There will be 1-2 other people here but they will be at work and Harry doesn't like being alone.

We are also looking for a dog sitter for December 22-25, possibly longer.

If you`re looking for a home away from home, this might be it!

I take a group to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing a few times per year so if that's on your bucket list, message me for the dates, costs and details! It's an amazing weekend. We also do trips and board game nights.

Our home is an easy place to relax, there is a spa pool, table tennis and pool table - plus we can take you out to see the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers along the beach on our quad bike. We are fortunate to have a feijoa orchard in the beautiful Hawke's Bay near the Tutaekuri River in the Dartmoor Valley & would appreciate one or two people to help us with picking & packing feijoas for the month of April. You will work alongside Philippa & Brent & our chocolate labrador will keep you entertained. Our two teens are still at high school. There is plenty to explore in the local area & you can use our cycles to do so. The cycle trails throughout the region are extensive & impressive. In our down time we like to visit native bush reserves & tend to our own native regeneration projects.

We are flexible with dates & welcome your enquiry for more information.

Best wishes & safe travels,
Philippa & Brent

My husband and I and two young sons run a farm approximately 20 mins North of Napier in the beautiful Hawkes Bay.

We need your help! Doing odd jobs, painting, tidying, gardening, feeding the pet lambs and assisting on the farm where possible.

We have a beautiful property and separate self contained cottage accommodation, that currently sleeps up to 4 people, just down the driveway from our house. Food would be provided but we would share some meals.

The river running through our property is accessible by walking through the farm and is perfect for swimming and picnics. We also have a camp ground with out door fire just perfect for roasting marshmallows. There are also lots of gorgeous calves and lambs, three very friendly dogs, chooks much more.

Your own transport would be preferable.

This will be our very first time hosting so we look forward to hearing from you, introducing you to our family and hosting you at our home.

If being around a whole pack of slobbering, cuddly Labradors, each with their own personality and quirks, sounds like your kind of heaven, please come join us!

We are an American couple who moved to New Zealand several years ago. Our 8 acre property in rural Hawkes Bay is surrounded by huge sheep and cattle farms. We have a small flock of bottle-raised sheep that help with the lawn-mowing and then we have a WHOLE BUNCH of Labrador dogs that are my 24/7 passion.

My husband works in town as a teacher and my focus is on the dogs whom I raise, train and share with the community in a variety of ways including therapy/assistance dog work, scent work and more. I truly believe there is nothing that a Labrador can't do!

But my favourite thing is to see how my dogs and puppies can impact the lives of others. Whether it is a smile on an elderly person's face, a memory brought back to a dementia patient, a dream of a couple's first fur-baby coming true or a child on the spectrum who o... more inside

We are an organically based beekeeping and honey processing company adhering to Rudolf Steiner principles of natural living. Processing our own product allows us to supply an unheated product, ensuring an undamaged enzyme count with botanicals and a complex flavour to the pallet.

The volunteer work will involve a variety of cleaning up hive gear, helping to jar and process honey, labelling, making beeswax candles, propolis creams, preparing the bee gear, building and (in the right season) visiting the hives.

Our work exchange is 24 hours a week for full board and 3 healthy meals a day. We have a vegetable garden that you can harvest from for meals.

Very relaxed and easy going environment/people, great food and good company. Only a short bus or car ride into town, not too far to bike but probably a little too far to walk. We have 4 bicycles available to use. Around the Hawkes Bay are 168 kilometers of bike trails, many right along the beautiful coastline.
