This is a lifestyle property just of state highway 2 within walking distance of Morere hot springs reserve and about 20 minutes drive to the beaches of the mahia peninsula.

The Gisborne/Wellington bus stops here twice daily.
After quite a few years being a wooffer/helper myself, I brought this property with the intention of growing my own fruit and vegetables, and being as self sufficient as possible. Its still a learning experience for me and there are a few things I can't grow but still enjoy (good coffee, wine etc).
Helpers work about 4 hours a day.At the moment its mainly gardening and some housework. Also, if you like cooking, i enjoy trying new recipes/meals etc. I prefer easy going people with a good sense of humour who are adventurous. Would suit a couple of friends or a single person who wants a break from the city.
I am a paddleboard instructor and also do volunteer shift work with St Johns ambulance service so need people who don't mind working independently on o... more inside

Hi

We are looking for 2 helpers to arrive mid-October - we would mostly like some help with gardening - weeding, trimming hedges etc and also some cleaning in and outside the house

Sometimes we work with the helpers - but often we will just show you what to do and leave you to it - so it is great if people have had a bit of previous experience of being helpers - particularly in the garden.

We have 2 dogs - Wally is a small friendly dog who loves to meet new people and a sheep dog called Jake who works on the farm. We also have a pet donkey, and 3 pet sheep

We live on a lifestyle property in Havelock North - about 3 km from the village. We have a large garden though it is mostly trees and grasses.

We also have a hill country farm 60 km away(2000 ha) on which we farm sheep and cattle.

We are really keen travellers and we enjoy meeting people from other countries. -

Sometimes there is work available on the farm.

Helpers definitely need their own transpo... more inside

Hello everyone. Iím looking for a helper/s for gardening, landscaping, painting, house keeping and other projects depending on your skills and interests. I can take someone from November 17th 2019.

Haumoana is a small, very artsy and alternative, semi rural seaside village. There are two surfing spots very close by. Yoga and pilates classes 5 minutes away. Miles of bike tracks, mostly off-road mean you can ride to the two larger towns Napier and Hastings.

You will be glamping in a tiny gorgeous cabin perched above a lagoon next to the beach with your own private deck. Wifi is available in the cabin, No electricity in the cabin but plenty of LED lighting). You can see more on instagram #Birdsong.haumoana or my Facebook page BirdsongHaumoana. Devices can be charged in the lounge. There is a shared (with me) outdoor shower with hot water and bathroom but your own composting toilet. . Kitchen facilities are shared and is a strictly vegetarian kitchen where no meat or fish may be... more inside

URGENT HELP WITH ALPACA SHEARING.
Help needed from Wednesday 23rd October for 1 week.
We need a couple, and you must be strong, physically fit and not frightened of hard work. Our alpacas will be getting shorn on either Sunday 27th October or Monday 28th October. The shearer comes to the farm, and i need helpers. To help you must be fit and strong and able to focus on doing a job that the shearer will give you. It might be helping to bring an alpaca to him from the pen, it might be pulling a rope, it might be lifting up fleeces from the floor onto the table. You will be told exactly how to be part of the team. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something very special.

We are one of New Zealand's premier alpaca breeders and we export our livestock to the EU and Uk. We have 80 alpacas and work with our animals on a daily basis. A helper would be involved in halter training young alpacas ready for the show ring, care and maintenance of our paddocks, removal of manur... more inside

We mainly eat organic healthy food and I will cook one main meal per day mostly in the evening, breakfast and lunch has to be prepared by yourself, there will always be plenty of food in the fridge and pantry to do so.
