Kia ora and hello!
Our home is in the middle of Honeymoon Valley surrounded by beautiful native bush. We built this house using mudbricks (local clay) and green roofs. I use a basic mix of permaculture & bio-dynamic principles with projects.
We'd like to host people who have some life and work experience and who can work independently. Please arrive on a Friday so we can get to know each other and work together over the weekend.

We have a workshop with basic tools and I collected recycled wood, bamboo etc. for creative carpentry.

Other activities are mowing, composting, chickens, chopping fire wood, preserving, making vinegar and beer, baking bread, propagating, seed collecting....

You help us every day for 4-5 hours/day, we exchange accommodation - your own room and bathroom - breakfast, sandwich lunch and cooked dinner, mostly organic, when possible with veggies & fruits fresh from our garden. If you need snack or a special diet food (e.g. gluten free) please bring t... more inside

I am taking on helpers all year.
The helpers are asked to help four hours for every night they are staying here. Some of the helpers will have the opportunity to come with me on Saturdays to the markets and help me sell local produce and for this they will get a day off during the week.

I live on a 4ha orchard on which I am growing plums, strawberries, garlic, feijoas and also vegetables for the local market. So The helpers are assisting mainly with weeding, picking and pruning.

The work is mainly outside, sometimes it`s wet and it is important that you can bring wet weather gear. I will provide gumboots and gloves if needed. The work is in general quiet easy but can also be physical, so I need people That don`t mind getting their hands dirty. I am quiet happy to put your washing through the whashing machine with no charge.

Vegetarians are welcome here but sorry no vegans. I will supply you with all basic things you need for your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also l... more inside

The intercity bus stops in Kerikeri. Our property is 5km from State Highway 10. We will collect you from Kerikeri if necessary.

We are a newish lodge. The lodge is run by mostly myself. We would welcome some help with the lodge. The work will be mostly out door work like weed eating, garden maintenance and helping with the guests breakfasts as well a little general cleaning. Our preference is for single independant persons, but open to most combinations. Preferably well presented with an eye for detail and has a good command of the english language. Every Guest so far has been nothing short of lovely. It is a lot of fun.....
We are situated on the edge of the most historic area of NZ (cradle of the nation). Minutes away from a beautiful walk to Rainbow water falls and a few more minutes to town. Beaches etc. are within half an hours drive.
If you enjoy yoga then we go to weekly classes. We are also involved in an organic community gardens so we eat a lot of vegies. It is best you have your own transport and contribute to the cooking of meals. So you need to be able to whip up a tasty dish.

Based in Doubtless Bay we live on a 10 acre olive grove based in the Far North, NZ, which is only 5-10 minutes from some of the most stunning beaches in New Zealand (2 in the NZ top 10).

We are generally looking for help with mowing, pruning, spraying, landscaping, small building work and general maintenance around the property. There is also the odd babysitting on occasions as we also run our own media business as well as house work. All dependant on the time of year.

Currently need someone for outdoor work and small simple building projects.

We’ve a double bedroom available for a single or couple that are happy to share that opens out on to the main deck with views across the olive grove. Or we also have space for tents if that is your preference.

We live on an orchard 12 minutes north of Kerikeri, in the Bay of Islands, growing blueberries. We would love help in the orchard now that the picking season has finished.

We ask our helpers for 4 hours work a day (but not Sundays) in exchange for accommodation and 3 meals a day. Please bring wet weather gear in case it rains. Free Wifi is also available. It is better but not essential for you to have your own car, as we live out of town with no public transport. You will have your own separate accommodation, with a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and laundry.

We offer friendly hospitality, have travelled overseas ourselves, enjoy meeting people from other cultures and sport. We are a Christian family and do not work on Sundays, but ask for staying that day you please work 2 hours in exchange for accommodation and organise your own meals. Murray works on the orchard, and Sue teaches English.

Kia ora
We are a couple living on a large lifestyle block on the edge of the Waima river arm of the Hokianga Harbour. We have a 19 year old son who sometimes stays and helps.
There’s a variety of work around the house, bush, gardens and farmland
The property is a mixture of pasture, orchard, remnant native forest and undulating land in transition back to native bush. We also have a lot of tough weeds we are clearing. The work is demanding so people usually take a few days off in the middle of a stay to go on an adventure in the far north
Ideal stay 1 week or 2 weeks with a few days away in middle

We try to incorporate permeculture and spend most of our time working outside. Our farm follows the Ohuri river with a magical mangrove forest and native wetland for about a kilometre to the confluence with the Waima river.

We have 2 spare rooms in a separate area of our big historic house that was part of the hotel in Rawene 100 years ago. It`s very comfortable and private bu... more inside
