Please apply if you are interested in gardening and general helping. Timing 6-13th Jan is free for someone to come. I have one job on at the moment building a new path to the house so someone with some building experience would be helpful.
This property has been a labour of love since it’s purchase 2015 and has been renovated over the last three years. It is a very unusual 7sided house. Especially outside is a work in progress, inside is now comfortable and rather lovely.

The property has fast internet. The accommodation is comfortable, good mattresses, great shower ... and the food is healthy.

Waiheke is simply a really lovely place. Lots of beaches close, walking tracks, cafés, restaurants and wineries. Main village Oneroa 2km, bus 500m.

Manda is a practical and professional person who appreciate living consciously and actively, loves nature and healthy food.

We are Sandrine and Soraya, two sisters living in a beach house here on the beautiful land of Waiheke Island, New Zealand. Our home is close to the sea and we are surrounded by native bush. We love our home here and want to share this space with others who can appreciate it.
We have plenty of jobs to do here! Painting, gardening, repairing, cleaning and repairing some floors. The work will be relatively light. We would expect 3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week (although we are very flexible with your working schedule). We would especially appreciate someone who is knowledgeable about gardening. Our home is a work in progress and we are open to any ideas or suggestions.
In exchange, we offer your own private double bedroom. We have two rooms available with two double beds - both opening to a wonderful big deck surrounded by birds and nature. We offer ingredients for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We encourage you to make most meals for yourself - but we are open to communal dinners. Pl... more inside

I am a professional based in Waiheke and occasionally able to offer a short-term room in return for help with the garden and general chores. A few hours a day for a great place to stay with views over the Hauraki Gulf and near the bus, café, walks, beach and forest. I've travelled extensively and enjoy sharing evening meals, wine and chatting about the world and NZ. If you are after a short Waiheke stay, quiet and respectful and enjoy gardening (my garden needs your help :) then get in touch.

Ideally a couple or 2 friends. We have some gardening work (pulling out big weeds, some digging) that needs done before it all gets out of control with summer sun! We have a super sunny place, only 200m from surfdale beach and 10mins walk to amazing little oneroa beach!

We are a 30 something couple who work as designers (Alain is an industrial/automotive designer and Sophie is a sports clothing designer. We have lived all around the world (california, amsterdam, italy, zurich, germany) and speak Dutch and German. We love snowboarding, hiking, riding our bikes. Alain loves his classic Porsche 924 which he is restoring and Sophie loves to cook!!! We have a 7month olf baby.

We are foodies who eat a mix of vegetarian food (but will eat ethically raised happy meat too) and organic living people who practise minimizing waste and composting. We hope to one day have a fully functional organic veggie garden.

An ideal guest for us would be:

Work and stay with us (Dan, Becs, Noah is 7 years old and Nikita is 6 year old) on Waiheke Island. We have an olive orchard and large range of fruit trees and 7 chickens. The house is only 18 months old so we still need to finish landscaping and planting our garden. Our goal is to live off the land as much as possible and have a year round garden. Work activities would include, landscaping, planting, weeding, composting, cleaning, cooking and maybe baby sitting.
