We are a community of about 10 people (currently including some seasonal workers) aspiring towards sustainable living. We are looking for help in an ongoing project of bush regeneration on a steep slope on the property, including removal of invasive weeds, building terraces, and regular maintenance of the above, as well as other garden tasks such as helping to process food waste and general garden maintenance. We would like a helper to put in 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. We would provide basic accommodation, the helper would provide their own food (apart from garden produce) and be part of the community.

Work and stay with us (Dan, Becs, Noah is 7 years old and Nikita is 6 year old) on Waiheke Island. We have an olive orchard and large range of fruit trees and 7 chickens. The house is only 18 months old so we still need to finish landscaping and planting our garden. Our goal is to live off the land as much as possible and have a year round garden. Work activities would include, landscaping, planting, weeding, composting, cleaning, cooking and maybe baby sitting.

We are currently looking for a couple to do some olive picking and some childcare from this Friday the 12th of March.

I am looking for a motivated couple or 2 friends who like to help me to take care of the grounds of my large (3000 sq m) property. There is a house and a holiday cottage on the land, a vegetable garden and an orchard. The orchard is on a slope, so any work in there is not for the faint hearted. The land is covered in bush, lawn, flower gardens, fruit trees and 5 large vege beds. I live mainly from the veges I grow myself, anyway I try as much as I can.

I also need help with refurbishing some furniture, means sanding and painting, and the house is due to be painted outside.

Skills in carpentry, cement work, sewing, paving, painting, rock wall creation, building, electrical, tiling & and any kind of woodwork would be appreciated.

At the moment (9.April 2019)I would like some help with weeding and orchard/garden work in general. If you are strong and can help with shifting furniture that would be great.

Mainly your interest in work, taking pride of what you have achieved an... more inside

I am looking for someone who is happy to work at a variety of things, and can work independently, in a mix of house cleaning, garden weeding and general house maintenance.

I manage 2 properties in Rocky Bay, connected by a lovely bush walk, and need help at both! One is a 3 bedroom house used as an Airbnb, with the downstairs separate accommodation where you would live.

The other is a large executive home with pool with 2 Airbnb rooms. Both on big beautiful sections with sea views. There is always something that needs doing!

The pool can be used at times, between guests!

We offer private self contained accommodation with bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette in exchange for 2 to 3 hours work a day/14 hours a week.
(The kitchenette is suitable for light meal preparations only. You provide your own food).

Looking for help with building and landscaping.
Currently constructing a new path to the house so someone with some landscaping experience would be really helpful.
This property has been a labour of love since it’s purchase 2015 and has been renovated over the last three years. It is a very unusual 7sided house. Especially outside is a work in progress, inside is now comfortable and rather lovely.

The property has fast internet. The accommodation is comfortable, good mattresses, great shower ... and the food is healthy.

Waiheke is simply a really lovely place. Lots of beaches close, walking tracks, cafés, restaurants and wineries. Main village Oneroa 2km, bus 500m.

Manda is a practical and professional person who appreciate living consciously and actively, loves nature and healthy food.
