I am looking for a motivated couple or 2 friends who like to help me to take care of the grounds of my large (3000 sq m) property. There is a house and a holiday cottage on the land, a vegetable garden and an orchard. The orchard is on a slope, so any work in there is not for the faint hearted. The land is covered in bush, lawn, flower gardens, fruit trees and 5 large vege beds. I live mainly from the veges I grow myself, anyway I try as much as I can.

I also need help with refurbishing some furniture, means sanding and painting, and the house is due to be painted outside.

Skills in carpentry, cement work, sewing, paving, painting, rock wall creation, building, electrical, tiling & and any kind of woodwork would be appreciated.

At the moment (Feb 2019) some tidying up is due, which is mainly heavy lifting work, and would need someone strong. Also quite some weeding in the orchard is overdue.

Mainly your interest in work, taking pride of what you have achieved and having... more inside

We are Sandrine and Soraya, two sisters living in a beach house here on the beautiful land of Waiheke Island, New Zealand. Our home is close to the sea and we are surrounded by native bush. We love our home here and want to share this space with others who can appreciate it.
