We have a real diversity of operations for you to experience. Previously we owned a fruit drying and processing operation employing 60 staff. This is still located on the property and we have recently purchased a small family snack bar company. We need your help and any expertise to set this up.

The home property has a 12 ha vineyard in the heart of Marlborough but our main 150 Ha vineyard operations are based in the Awatere Valley. This property has both stock and vineyard components. Wine from the property was awarded the Worlds best Sauvignon Blanc at the 2015 London Wine Awards.

We are close to the town of Blenheim (3 km) and 1 km from shops pub etc at Spring Creek.

Transport can be made available and we have plenty of accommodation on the property.

Work would be varied from simple house keeping, property maintenance to vineyard work with machinery and tractor work if you can handle it.

We have a Cafe and Salsa dance studio on the property if your keen. We're a... more inside

LOOKING FOR HELP ASAP.

In return for 4 hours work a day I offer you accommodation and all meals in a sunny, warm home where you will have your own bedroom (queen size bed) and own bathroom with the added privacy of being in a separate wing of my house. My sunny home sits atop a hill from which you will have a magnificent view of the township of Blenheim to Cook Strait and the hills of the North Island beyond.

Of course if you would prefer to work a full day in order to have a day off in which you could explore the nearby Marlborough Sounds, cycle the wine trails, or walk or climb on any of the formed tracks in this area, that would be just fine.

My 40ha property is a sheep farm most of which is leased. I tend a large garden and care for the drive and tracks, drainage and irrigation and deal with fallen trees. It is situated in the midst of vineyards in the Brancott Valley 13 km from Blenheim (pop 27,000) which contests the annual sunshine record every year.

We enjoy our Helpers, and they tell us that they enjoy being here. You can enjoy independent accommodation in a self-contained one-room bunkhouse, allowing privacy and comfort. You also have access to a private little picnic area just for yourselves.

We're in a remote location accessible only by boat. We will provide transportation from Havelock, Marlborough to here and back, which in itself is a fun experience. There's seafood for you to gather or catch, and hills, forest, trails, and beach to explore. You can use the dinghy and kayaks to explore or fish. You can have all the mussels you wish to eat/prepare.

We're entirely off-grid: solar power, etc. But, we do have cell coverage and there's wifi.

Looking for interesting people that don`t mind helping out with gardening, painting, renovation work, or whatever is going on at the time! We are a couple in our early 30s in Blenheim that need occasional help with landscaping and renovation projects. Especially helpful are people with painting, building and cabinet making skills. We love going to the beach, sailing in the Marlborough Sounds, walking in the hills. We enjoy sharing good food and drink and meeting new people.

We are Steve and Cathy.

We are 30 minutes drive from Blenheim on SH6.
We are 45 minutes drive from Picton and the interislander ferry.
We do not have WIFI.
We have a small farm with mainly sheep, and a few beef cattle.
We can accommodate 2 people comfortably with 2 double rooms with a shared bathroom.
The work required to be done will depend entirely on your skills, the time of year. We are very flexible. We do not expect regular daily hours.
There is only one kitchen, so we will be eating together, until the downstairs unit has a kitchen built.
