We are a small family with 2 young school aged children 6 and 7 yrs. We have been here on the vineyard for 4 years. This is our primary focus.

We are growing a small orchard, our own vegetables and have lots of gardens and lawns to mow! We have olive trees, chickens and a cat and dog. We try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible

My husband and I both have experience in Biodynamic farming at previous work-place employment's.

My husband and I did all the work that we could on the vineyard in the first 2 years and then we realised that we weren't having any fun with our small children. We joined HELPX last year and had such a good experience with helpers that were keen to try and work hard.

It is SPRING and there is plenty of work to do in the vineyard (Shoot thinning, sucker removal and wire lifting).
The olives will need some attention soon too.... There are usually other gardening (vege and flowers) and little tidy-up jobs that I don't get around to do... more inside

Hi
We would love to have two willing helpers for 3 days on our small farm.

We farm free range pigs and chickens. Also have calves.
We love our garden and the outdoors. 4 -5 hours per day would be spent in the garden in return for a room in the house and meals, we love sharing meals and learning about our helpers.
The helpers most suited to us would mind twenties and active.
We will also be able to offer one days work for 2 people, this would be in our party hire business. If you are able to be here for Wednesday 23 October thru to Sunday would be great.

We are a family living on a decent size lifestyle block in the heart of the vineyards in Blenheim, Marlborough. Although it is a rural property we are still only 7 minutes drive from town, making it a fantastic location for those who want to experience and work in the more rural area of Marlborough but also be able to access local amenities/ shops and bars. We are looking for someone to stay with us preferably for a minimum week at a time on the standard Helpx basis (food and accommodation for 4 hours work per day)for help working the extensive grounds, gardens and vegetable gardens, some building and maintenance/repair work around the property and helping looking after/ walk the 2 super friendly pooches. There would also be work available inside the house cleaning and cooking etc. We can be flexible with hours if you would rather work full days to have other days off this can be arranged. As you will see from the photos the property is a pretty lovely place to stay with lots of out... more inside

We enjoy our Helpers, and they tell us that they enjoy being here. You can enjoy independent accommodation in a self-contained one-room bunkhouse, allowing privacy and comfort. You also have access to a private little picnic area just for yourselves.

We're in a remote location accessible only by boat. We will provide transportation from Havelock, Marlborough to here and back, which in itself is a fun experience. There's seafood for you to gather or catch, and hills, forest, trails, and beach to explore. You can use the dinghy and kayaks to explore or fish. You can have all the mussels you wish to eat/prepare.

We're entirely off-grid: solar power, etc. But, we do have cell coverage and there's wifi.

We provide accommodation, wild game meat, herbs, and some groceries. We hope you will join us for dinner 2 evenings a week. In exchange we would like 22 hours of help a week (timing flexible): yard care, gardening, native forest restoration, trail clearing, building maintena... more inside

Kia Ora -

I need gardening doing, laying carpet in the garage, cleaning windows, weed killing, general cleaning of the house, water blasting the outside of my house...........and probably a lot more!!

Hi, I live in a beautiful part of the world with spectacular views of the water.

Picon is the gateway to the Marlborough Sounds. Queen Charlotte Track for walking or biking, boat tours, swimming with dolphins, wine tours......so much to do.

At the moment I can offer 1 room in the house. You can have free Wi-Fi if you bring your own laptop.

I am looking for 4 hours work a day in exchange for breakfast - cereal, toast, tea and coffee and dinner. You will have to sort out your own lunch.

Dinner - I will normally cook for you or depending on commitments, or I may leave food for you to cook yourself.

My kitchen is currently under renovation so it's a bit disorganised.

You will be expected to do your own dishes at all times though.

I am open to flexibility... more inside

Plum thinning is the main work on now that we need help with. Rather meditative and just requires nimble fingers.
Accommodation is in the warm “blueberry cottage,' a simple self-contained flat that is part of the packhouse across the lawn from our house. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, computer and wifi, plus there's accommodation in the caravan.I stock the kitchen with good ingredients and between those and the orchard/gardens you assemble your own breakfast. We start at 830 and work for four hours. I make lunch at the house for everyone, and the afternoons are your own. I'll keep the larder stocked with whatever food you like, we don't eat much meat but can supply it, mostly you'll make your own dinners but when time and energy allows it we have dinner together at the house. We have bikes for your use and are surrounded by wineries, or there's always the hammock for a nap... To make things easier for us we would ask if you can come and go on a Monday. *** Helper/s needed early November, Thanks for your interest ***

Hi there! We have a large modern house 70 metres from the beach in Anakiwa and 30 mins by road from Picton. There are kayaks here, excellent bush walks and a beautiful relaxed seaside environment.

Our kiwi family regularly hosts young volunteers (wwoofers/helpers/interns) from our international visitors. You are treated like a member of our family, you live within our private household, share your background and experience our daily life in New Zealand.

As with family members, there are no formal contracts or payment, your input is fully voluntary and you are free to depart at any time. Volunteers normally help out for 3-4 hrs per day with the afternoons/evenings free to relax.

Tasks are typically gardening, house cleaning, laundry, helping with meals (vegetarians welcome, but sorry we are not vegetarian!) and generally assisting around the property with misc tasks that suit your talents.

You will get... more inside
