Available from 3rd October, most of October is available and any date in November (at the moment) we would prefer one person but couples are good too. We would like someone to come for between 10 and 14 nights/ we are a family of 4,living on a sheep, deer and beef farm not far from the small town of Ahaura. Our house looks look out to the bush and mountains. For many years we have been a premier host but Im having issues with my pay pal account to renew membership.

We have working 5 farm dogs and 1 puppy born in December. Many helpers fall in love with Ted a beardie/huntaway breed of dog. He is always getting pats and is our most photographed pet.

We live on a sheep and deer farm about 30 minute drive to Greymouth. We live around 9kilometres from Ahaura town. Loads of stunning walks, caving, biking and adventure to be had.

One of my biggest enjoyments is showing others what we cook for dinner and then sitting down and eating as a family. We enjoy sharing stories an... more inside

We are located 40 minutes south of Hokitika and 1.5 hours north of Franz Josef, on a very small dairy farm. There are just under 100 cows. We have only just started calving, so will now be new babies to feed. Daffodils are flowering. Weather has been very mild so far.

Katharine would love to design and project manage building another house and once had thoughts of drafting/architecture as a career. Design, ceramics, travel and food are some of my interests. I think I should learn a little Yoga and exercise more.

We enjoy hosting and entertaining.
Would love to meet nationalities from all over the world. We are after people who can build, labour, paint etc. If you decide to come and visit you will have your own bedroom and bathroom. We are on a small bush section so if you like gardening we have a simple area we would like to upgrade.

Just a peaceful place that needs some t.l.c. every once and a while, like gardening, creating and cleaning, depending on the weather. Were a couple, with a 22 year old, and we love to hear about what's happening in the world, from different perspectives.. Were not traveling at present, so this is the next best thing.... having someone in our home, helping, sharing and learning. . ..
I love dancing, music, and arts which is included in our home environment. Riding motor bikes, or a little game of table tennis, creating trails, riding on the bicycle trails, hiking, & watching sun sets. Never boring around here for me, I am in the process of becoming more self sufficient, planted 20 trees. Creating new gardens, wanting to create a medicinal garden this year.
The more alive our food is the better, for all of us ~_0
If you would like to help me learn about life, I would like to hear from you.
My husband is a local, born and bread, along with his father, and grandfather, and gr... more inside

I live on a 40 hectare property between Greymouth and Hokitika (most of which is native forest) with a view over the Taramakau river. The land and house need ongoing maintenance including gardening, gathering firewood, window cleaning, painting, and clearing tracks.
I also have some sheep, and occasionally need help with managing them.
My preference is someone (or couple)who has been raised in the countryside, is strong, and capable with machinery. An international drivers licence would be a bonus. I like people who work hard, and are capable of doing so without supervision. At the moment I am setting up a new outside enclosure for my hens and clearing firewood from a track through our forest and working around my garden area and tunnelhouse...
I may need help with some cooking from time to time. My children are grown up, and not living at home...

In return for 4 hours work for every night you stay, I look after you well. The food is tasty wholesome farm cooking. Vegetaria... more inside
