Hello, we have a 'boutique' dairy farm on the edge of Oxford, North Canterbury, where we sell fresh, real milk through our Milk vending machine. We milk around 20 cows year round and this has been a very popular addition to our farm. Our eldest daughter has enjoyed doing Help Exchanges overseas so we would love to give someone the same opportunity!

We have a few jobs that we would like some help with clearing yard areas, sorting firewood, burning fire heaps. We also have ongoing jobs such as feeding out, weed spraying, gardening, painting, tidying and household chores so depending on the day there will be some variety.

We would like one person aged 20 and over who has reasonable English and has had a little bit of experience on a farm already so they are ready to jump in to help with anything. Hours/days of work are flexible but we would expect around 4-5 hours a day, depending on the jobs and weather. Maximum 7 day stay.

You will have your own private room, wifi, shared bath... more inside

I am looking for one or two (or more) people to stay. Families are ok too.
We need someone to do some gardening, maybe some painting, cutting firewood, cleaning etc.
We have just got ourselves a large property with heaps of apple trees and plum trees, plus lots of gardens.
I love cooking so I can make some great meals for you.
We have a warm, comfortable place for you to stay. It is very private.
We've had people stay while they kit out a van with a bed and cupboards etc, so if this is your plan, we have numerous tools that you are welcome to use.
We offer unlimited Wi-Fi, and unlimited food. You are welcome to cook yourself some food anytime.

We have a couple of road bikes you are welcome to use, and our van is available sometimes too, especially if you are looking at buying a vehicle and need to go and look at some.
Otherwise, I can usually organise a ride into Christchurch or Rangiora if you need to go there.

We are not offering a proper room but a space we have accommodated in the garage, with queen bed and a tv with Netflix. Unlimited wifi. There is also a bike with lock and helmet you can use.

I'm happy to give the weekend off as long as the hours are done in advance during the week. It's a small, easy to look after house, and it's me (Spanish female) and my two boys who are 13 and 16. The chores would be general cleaning, doing the dishwasher, putting the washing in and out, ironing, some gardening ...whatever is needed that day. Starting time is flexible and no need to get up too early at all as long as all tasks assigned for the day have been finished before 3 pm unless they are cooking dinner, in which case that will have to be done at around 7 pm.
