I live on a lifestyle property in the country with a few sheep, including George who is a character and loves you to feed him bread and Ollie the dog.
I have a large garden and lawns and my home has magnificent views to the mountains and the surrounding countryside. It is also the perfect spot for stargazing at night with the clear dark night skies. It is in a quiet, peaceful envirnoment.

I am situated just outside Pleasant Point, 20km west of Timaru. My home is just 1 hour away from Lake Tekapo and 2-2.5 hours away from Mt Cook and there are plenty of beautiful spots in close proximity for doing hikes and sightseeing.

I have a variety of outdoor jobs that I need help with including gardening, weeding and outdoor maintenance jobs, lawns and whatever else needs doing at the time.

The accommodation would be your own room in the house.

We run a boutique horseback riding adventure company from our farm in Waihaorunga, South Canterbury, central otago, Wanaka, Lindis Pass, Ahuriri Valley, Omarama. There is always room for workers who can do fencing, gardening, riding young horses, painting fences, chopping fire wood, cooking, housework, general farm work. You may find yourself trekking over the mountains if you stay for a while. Living with us you will find out the real Kiwi way of life off the beaten track. I have my own hens for eggs, organic vegi garden, most of our meat is farm fresh and there is never ending home baking to fill hungry tummies at the end of the day. If you are committed to sharing work for accommodation and good home cooked food then please apply. We would love our workers to stay at least 2 weeks max 6 months (actually become part of the family!)
