## If you have been trapped as a visitor in NZ during shutdown/confinement and have a camper van or vehicle suitable to sleep in; I may be able to help you (share facilities & services; power, kitchen, washing, bathroom, wifi. etc) in some way (no cost). Arrange your own food/supplies, no work required. ##

Available to help as of 1530 hours 02nd April, as the women who where coming are being dishonestly misinformed to make them stay where they are and pay for being used (dishonest kiwis!!, sad), good luck.

Any interested parties must be HelpX current users (prior to shutdown) and approach by email only, thanks.

I am a Professional Artist/Educator (Photographic Medium), also Gay. I am not vegetarian. I live in small scenic rural settlement and need property maintenance help (mostly: landscaping & gardening. etc.) from time to time. Current Help (Mar 2020): Create a new vegetable garden, landscaping, odd jobs, (IT website work - maybe an option). Please make sure your own pr... more inside

We have three children and run a busy farm. Jobs would involve child care, gardening ,and a little day to day house keeping, also general farm work when needed. Our farm has a lot of sheep and animals so if you`re keen on beautiful scenery and have a love of the outdoors, this could be for you.
Also provided is a car to use to explore the area. We are situated on the main highway an hour from queenstown and a hour and a half from Dunedin.
If you would like to experience the rural kiwi lifestyle, and enjoy a relaxed family atmosphere, with plenty of free time to travel and explore this breathtaking part of the world, then this job could be for you. We look forward to hearing from you.

so a wee bit about us...We have two children 2 and 3 years old as well as two pet dogs and a working dog to help move stock. We have sheep, beef, pigs and chickens we breed and raise for the table we also have a large poly tunnel for growing veg all year. We love the lifestyle having a farmlet gives us and we would love to share it with you.

There are lots of jobs to do the main one is spraying gorse and manually clearing fence lines. Other jobs you may be involved in are cutting and collecting wood and kindling, gardening and weeding, collecting eggs and feeding the stock. Doing some cooking and house work is always welcome.

If you would like to learn how to process sheep or beef for eating and how to make sausages and salami then this could be arranged.

If your here over the winter months we show our chickens at poultry expos which your most welcome to get involved with as it is heaps of fun!

The property is 10 min out of town and there is no public transport so you wi... more inside

MY BUSINESS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO THE NZ LOCKDOWN.

My name is Louise and I run an art gallery with a bar and kitchen. We host musical gigs every week & also Qigong classes on a weekly basis.... often catering for special events and parties. There is a garden where we hold outside musical events and over the Summer months there is always plenty to do....
Jobs could include dishes, bar work, barista, gardening, dog walking, chopping firewood, cleaning. The busiest days are Friday nights so working then is a must. Other days can be flexible depending on jobs or events and if you are around the gallery you will be fed. Bonnie does need a lot of attention every day.
My dog Bonnie, and I live just 10 minutes north on a farm which is truly beautiful and very quiet and rural. We enjoy the beauty and tranquility and hope that our visitors will too. We have a spacious caravan with double bed and sitting room space for our visitors. Shower and washing facilities are available ... more inside

My partner and I own a 50 hectare lifestyle farm in remote Central Otago about 35 minutes from Alexandra, 1.5h from Queenstown and Wanaka. The little settlement is very beautiful and reflects the history of the area. We have 6 horses, 2 donkeys and a few cows as well as 2 dogs.
We have 6 horses, 2 donkeys and a few cows as well as a couple of dogs.
Photos are of your accommodation, you have your separate wing of the house with own bathroom and wifi etc. We can accommodate up to 2 people and are looking for some help with weed control and a bit of building where required. Of course there will be some fun and horse riding will be part of the exchange to!!
Preferred length of stay is a week or more but we’re pretty flexible on this.
Cheers Jamie and Thomas

** WE ALREADY HAVE HELPERS FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT MONTH DUE TO THE LOCK-DOWN SO PLEASE DO NOT OFFER TO COME AND HELP US - STAY SAFE AND IF YOU ARE A FREEDOM CAMPER OR TRAVELLER PLEASE, PLEASE STAY ISOLATED PLEASE**

We are situated overlooking the ocean on the stunning Otago Peninsula and have 100 acres of farmland. We require help with household/odd jobs as well as outside jobs, depending on what's happening.

We need helpers who are energetic, honest, fun, caring, conscientious, can get on with jobs without requiring supervision and are not glued to a device!!! We have thoroughly enjoyed some absolutely wonderful helpers but have also had a selection of lazy bums who really only want cheap accommodation. If that is you please keep looking elsewhere.

We are an animal besotted family with 3 horses, 8 ducks, 3 cats and a dog (please NOTE we have retired drugs dogs so if you use even occasionally, then please don`t bother offering your services !).

Some equestrian knowledg... more inside

We live in a 100 year old farmhouse on 22 acres which we enjoy sharing and with too much to do for us to get to it all.

There's Indy the dog, Delphi the budgie, Chester the miniature horse, Gracie and the rest of the weed-control goats, a dozen or so beef cattle to get to know besides your hosts - Hyram, Adrienne and Amélie.

We have a single bedroom as well as a lovely double bedroom for couples or friends willing to share a room so we can host up to three helpers in various combinations.

Work will involve whatever needs to be done - garden work (often lots of weeding!), house work, farm work, building and vehicle maintenance, housework, cooking, etc. If you have some special skills and experience we'll try to put them to use, if yo... more inside
