Hi there fellow travelers,

Im looking for only short stays, up to 7 days at this stage, depending on your skills can last longer.
I have a building project and some farming projects like fencing.
So I am looking for someone strong and with these skills and experience please.

After traveling myself for many years, I have now brought my own peaceful part of the world in Ettrick.
Im 1.5 hours from Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown and Wanaka.
There are daily buses from all main cities that stop at Ettrick Shop, or in Roxburgh where I can pick you up or drop you off. I live 4 mins away from Ettrick sort of out of town with amazing view of our lovely valley.
We are 12km/10min away from the nearest larger town of Roxburgh.
I would like someone to working for approx 4 hours a day.
I pretty much live off the land and build and fix almost everything around the farm.
The house is old but warm with wood fire in winter and I can only offer a double bed spare room in house.
We... more inside

Gardening, housework, light mechanical, a bit of hunting, all sorts of things, never boring. handy to routburn and greenstone tracks.you will need you`re own T stick as there is no free internet,a bit isolated, not for the precious,no trophy hunters,no bum, guts or shoulder shooters.please don`t apply unless you intend to come.minimum stay two weeks, one person only.we do not get involved with internships or visa applications.vegetarians and vegans would probably not be comfortable as we eat meat daily. Because of the increasing risk of corona virus we no longer except applicants that have not been in New Zealand for less than a month ,cheers AL

Hi

We are farming couple with young children and looking for some help from late Sept early Oct.

The main project we are looking for help with next is painting a small house. You do not require previous experience although it would be helpful.

We are always looking for help with general gardening and work around the house.

If you interested in being part of a busy farming family with two young children, lots of animals and varying jobs you may be interested in what we are looking for.

You must have a good attitude, be happy to be around children. Most jobs we need help with will not need prior experience but please tell us what you enjoy and have experience in.

We do not require you to work on the farm with stock although you will get plenty of opportunity to experience farm life. Animals are everywhere and a big part of our life.

About us:

We are a family of four, a three year old and one year old. We live in an amazing part of the country, plenty ... more inside

There is some daily work available for 1 or 2 people helping in this 5 bedroom B&B heritage house. Some cleaning, housekeeping, kitchen, odd jobs, renovating etc working alongside proprietor.
Accommodation onsite and good homely lodging. Must speak and understand fluent English to an acceptable international level and be presentable in appearance to a general hotel standard.
Oamaru is a desirable tourist town and place to live with domestic customers continues to be open all year round.
There is help required now from September 2020 with housekeeping/cleaning. There could be paying work available to the right person(s) after staff training for those intending staying a longer period thru to next year 2021.
It is best to start with a few weeks training period and if all goes well then monthly and longer term if agreeable.
Good income prospects for longer term people wanting stability and safe accommodation in assistant managers capacity.

WELCOME TO PARADISE GLENORCHY

We are a busy couple working full time and needing help with our property. Based in the spot chosen by the original settling family in the area, we have a really well established garden that needs taming and some quirky buildings that need some TLC. Looking for hardy gardeners, handy DIYers and folks who are keen to just generally get stuck in.

We have a great retro caravan, sleep out, outdoor kitchen and bathroom set up that's screaming out for someone, two friends or a couple to bring it to life. At this stage we a only provide breakfast. We have heaps of freezer space and suggest you stock up on a few dinners, and drinks in Queenstown before you get here as the local shops are a bit pricey.

Spark phone signal is limited to the end of the drive, Vodafone works just fine. - free internet available.

We recommend helpers have there own wheels, as we're 5km outside of Glenorchy. There is however a bike you can use if you dont mind the 15min r... more inside

so a wee bit about us...We have two children 2 and 4 years old as well as two pet dogs and a working dog to help move stock. We have sheep, beef, pigs and chickens we breed and raise for the table we also have a large poly tunnel for growing veg all year. We love the lifestyle having a farmlet gives us and we would love to share it with you.

We are currently looking for someone to cut, split, move and stackfirewood for a week or two so other jobs you may be asked to do is spraying gorse and manually clearing fence lines, collecting pine-cones, gardening and weeding, collecting eggs and feeding the stock.

If your here over the winter months we show our chickens at poultry expos which your most welcome to get involved with as it is heaps of fun!
If your here in spring there will be calves and lambs to bottle feed.

The property is 10 min out of town and there is no public transport so you will need your own. If we are going to town we are happy to take you with us but we do n... more inside

My partner and I own a 50 hectare lifestyle farm in remote Central Otago about 35 minutes from Alexandra, 1.5h from Queenstown and Wanaka. The little settlement is very beautiful and reflects the history of the area. We have 6 horses, 2 donkeys and a few cows as well as 2 dogs.
Photos are of your accommodation, you have your separate wing of the house with own bathroom and wifi etc. We can accommodate up to 2 people and are looking for some help with weed control and a bit of building where required. Of course there will be some fun and horse riding will be part of the exchange to!!

We preferred length of stay is a week or more but we’re pretty flexible on this.
Cheers Jamie and Thomas
