Hi guys,

We are a farming family with 4 children aged between 8 and 4.

We live 15 mins East of Invercargill city.

We don't need helpers on our farm, however we really enjoy having guests!

As a guest of our family, you can expect to be well fed, accommodated, and share in our everyday farm and family life :).

We take guests for a maximum of 3 nights.

Your own transport is useful if you want to go and explore, and because of our young ones, we would prefer that you don't smoke around them please.

We have a hut ("The Nest"), just next to our home, which you are welcome to stay in. It is small, but tidy and new, with good insulation and good heating. The Nest doesn't have toilet or shower facilities (they're in the house and not available during the night). It has 1 queen-sized bed and comes with its own series of outside bushes to pee in.

If this all sounds okay to you please feel free to get in touch. Please don't be offended if we don't get back to you ri... more inside

This is a stud beef cattle property situated near picturesque Winton in Central Southland. The area is renowned for its farming and Torrisdale (the farm) is surrounded by dairy and mixed farming properties. The property is within short travel distances of some of the most talked about 'tourist' locations including Queenstown which is only a 100 minute drive away.
Like on all farms there are things to do. Preparing for/and maintenance of shelter tree plantings, small building and maintenance projects and some gardening are just some of the outdoors jobs that helpers could be involved with plus for those who have some experience, mingling with the cattle is occasionally on the list.
Food and accommodation (own room, shared bathroom) provided. Capped Internet access available. Helpers who are proficient in cooking (for themselves mostly) and putting their hand to the occasional bit of housework would fit well in the routine that is usually in vogue here. If you don't have transpor... more inside

Kia Ora, we are family of three, with a newborn Sogdiana, our daughter. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, on the way to Milford Sound, a world-renowned natural wonder. We live 5 minute walk to down town and 10 minuet walk to the lake. This place is truly incredible, with Fiordland National park pretty much in our backyard.

This position will suit someone who has a van you can sleep in. for 1.5 hr of help around the house you can park up on our lawn and use our facilities, shower, kitchen, laundry and limited internet. You are welcome to hang out in the lounge some of the time but we prefer someone who gets out and about as I stay home with a new born most of the day. You are welcome to use our kitchen to prep your meals.

We will mainly need help around the house, cleaning, windows some garden work, nothing complicated, just a day to day tasks.

Kind Regards,

Ryan & Marina & Sogdiana

The house backs onto the Waiau River, the property requires help in maintenance and up keep. Very cruzy lifestyle and I like to have fun whilst doing tasks (its not really work) and then show off and explore the surrounding area of Southland and go hunting, fishing, surfing, kayaking, diving etc. I am always looking for helpers so hit me up if you are interested!!
