We own a B&B set amongst beautiful gardens located just 10mins to Curio bay where you can see the 160 year old fossil forrest, the rare Yellow Eyed penguin and dolphins who frequently visit the bay. Just a 20min drive to Cathedral Caves and waterfalls we are the ideal location to explore the wild natural beauty of The Catlins!
We really need help with our gardens- weeding, pruning etc. Also possibly just being in the house while our kids sleep (babysitting but no work required!) while we occasionally go floundering at night. We have two boys aged 1.5 and 4 years old. 4 hours(each) a day in exchange for a beautiful queen room with ensuite and dinner. Breakfast and lunch will be up to you. At least one week commitment.

Hey this Autumn (& ongoing) I'm going to be building an underground bunker/coldstore and aiming to work on creating a larger organic permacultural eco system & build a Spa pool and entertaining area overlooking the river, so yer it's all go & it would great to hear from anyone who's interested in helping out & having fun creating these projects.

- Trying to achieve a self susstainable organic set up, free range chickens, ducks and live stock, organic vegetables and orchard and I only like to eat food that I know where its come from. The house backs onto the Waiau River, the property requires help in maintenance and up keep. Very cruzy lifestyle and I like to have fun whilst doing tasks (its not really work) and then show off and explore the surrounding area of Southland and go hunting, fishing, surfing, kayaking, diving etc. I am always looking for helpers so hit me up if you are interested!!

We are primarily an intensive sheep farm with commercial and stud flocks - breeding rams to sell.

We are both well traveled, we have two adult sons - both working off farm. We often have overseas trainees and visitors and find that there are periods of the year, that we have room for wwoofers to give extra help around the house, garden and on the farm.

Right now, we are looking for a super star helper starting second week of September for 2-4 weeks. We will be lambing and primarily need a nurturing person to help feed orphan lambs. If the weather is great and we don't have too many lambs to feed, there will be housework, gardening and cooking (if you love sharing your cuisine). We are looking for someone who is physically fit and enjoys working in and outdoors, who would like to help our permanent farm crew. You don't need to have worked on a sheep farm before but you do need to be keen, active and have a great "can do" attitude. You need to be prepared to work with ne... more inside

Hello,
We are a family of five with three young children centrally located near Gore, approx an hour from Invercargill, an hour and a half from Dunedin and an hour or so to Queenstown.
We are looking for someone to help on our 750 acre sheep and beef farm and sometimes help with some domestic chores. No experience is necessary but an interest in animals/farming would be great! A good grasp of English is essential. Because it's a rural area, having your own transport would be helpful. However, we're happy to pick up/drop off at the Gore bus stop. Minimum stay is one week.
Accommodation is a self contained house.

***We are urgently looking for some keen helpers over the next two months to help us rear calves and during September when we are lambing.***
We are a family running a sheep farm (500 acres) in Western Southland (near Riverton), our family has been in the area for over 150 years, we are busy during most seasons and are always keen to host helpers wanting to learn about and get some experience on a sheep farm, some tasks include general stock work, fencing, tree planting, lambing, feeding out during the winter months, electric fencing, painting etc. Accomodation is a newly built warm tourist style cabin/house next to our family home on the farm, length of stay is negotiable. We enjoy good food and like to have a relaxed fun atmosphere.

Hi. We live on a Sheep and Deer farm in Northern Southland with one boy and a little girl.

We require help with farm and garden work and the occasional child-minding and housework.

Our farm has a fantastic river for swimming or fishing.
We live less than 2 hrs from Queenstown and Te Anau. Dunedin is only 2 and a half hours drive.

A self-contained house is available and meals are provided.
Non smokers preferred.

We can pick up from Riversdale or Gore, but own car an advantage.

Gavin and I have travelled extensively around the world and would love to meet you.
