Hello,
We are a family of five with three young children centrally located near Gore, approx an hour from Invercargill, an hour and a half from Dunedin and an hour or so to Queenstown.
We are looking for someone to help on our 750 acre sheep and beef farm and sometimes help with some domestic chores. No experience is necessary but an interest in animals/farming would be great! A good grasp of English is essential. Because it's a rural area, having your own transport would be helpful. However, we're happy to pick up/drop off at the Gore bus stop. Minimum stay is one week.
Accommodation is a self contained house.

Kia Ora, my husband and I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, on the way to Milford Sound, a world-renowned natural wonder. We live 5 minute walk to down town and 10 minuet walk to the lake. This place is truly incredible, with Fiordland National park pretty much in our backyard.

We are offering a room, and a dinner in exchange for 4 hr a day of help around the house, maximum stay is 3 nights. You can also have an option of working 7 hr one day and have a day off the next day so you can explore Southland if you would like to.

We will mainly need help around the house with things like, washing windows, organizing, mowing lawns, cleaning an oven, weeding, firewood stacking, basically help around with whatever we need help with. Nothing complicated, just a day to day things.

We have had some wonderful experiences with people staying with us and some shockingly bad ones, therefore we prefer to have a self motivated person with good work ethics. If you are ... more inside
