Looking for that special someone who adores and enjoys spending time with Dogs to help out with the day to day activities of our Retired Show/Breeding Kennel. Work is not difficult and lots of opportunities for Canine cuddles and Puppy Play. Our Dogs, although a full on energetic Breed are generally well behaved, well mannered, and are always happy. Some are House dogs, so you MUST be comfortable with this and having `Lap Time` as they LOVE cuddles. This all means that you must love Dogs enough to make an effort to `connect` with them in a POSITIVE manner while at our Home.

We appreciate a minimum of 2 weeks as it takes time to learn the routine. We are a Friendly welcoming Couple, who have had many years Hosting BackPackers, with many Friends made and return Visits.

While we do NOT believe in taking advantage of our Helpers ever, we do love those who get in and really help take the pressure off our very full days (not add to it)....Initiative, Responsibility and Attention to... more inside

I live in the original section of Mullumbimby near Byron bay 100 metres from the Brunswick River and park in a beautiful federation house with a plantation style tropical small rainforest garden and organic vegetable garden.

I would love some help from late June 2019 with someone who has skills in either web development, graphic design, ux design or app development to assist with our initiative. We have developed and designed a prototype of an innovative app to assist families to become happier and healthier.

With my partner I am involved in a social enterprise which is a holistic education initiative. We have run holistic early childhood programs in socially disadvantaged communities across Australia. I have written a book on how to raise healthy children called "Eco Parenting Ė Growing Greener Children"."Parenting as an Art" one of our books has recently been published in Vietnam and in China.

I look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in sharing a tran... more inside

Our farm is located in the coastal hinterland of the Mid North Coast of NSW. 1 hour from Coffs Harbour, 30 minutes from pristine beaches and 25 minutes from the pacific highway - we are located half way between Brisbane and Sydney.

This is a small family operated organic permaculture farmstay and bee sanctuary with over 100 colonies of honeybees, native bees and a market garden delivering fresh fruit and vegetables and natural bush honey to our local community and beyond. We are a family of 4 including 2 children ages 7 and 10 who attend the local Steiner school.

We have an abundance of Australian wildlife on our property including an array of native birds, kangaroos, water dragons, and goannas and are a registered property under Land for Wildlife.

We also run educational courses and retreats on our 100 acres with a pristine creek meandering through the property and local waterhole for swimming nearby.

We live on a beautiful and very peaceful farm in Arcadia which is one hour north of the Sydney CBD. We are at the end of a quiet street and surrounded by national park. There isn`t a neighbour in sight! There are lots of beautiful walking and riding trails right outside our gate, yet the shops are just 15 minutes away. Train stations are 30 minutes away so the city and beaches are very accessible.

Our workers and volunteers have free use of a great little Toyota Yaris so they can explore the local area, go shopping, get to the train stations and do lots of fun things on days off. They also have free wifi and I pay for all of their groceries.

I (Amanda) have a horse business. I give lessons and train horses for dressage and show jumping. I also try to go to competitions as often as possible. We usually have between 18 and 25 horses here so it`s all pretty busy.

My husband Brett is a builder and he tries to work as locally as possible. He also has a lon... more inside

What is expected of you:
4 easy hours per day, 5 days a week. Days off are flexible. You get 7 days meals, accommodation and transport. Best if you stay at least three weeks. If you book please turn up or notify us if you or not coming. We refuse a lot of HelpXers and find so many of the ones we agree to take are not turning up. We are away from shops and the tourist venues but others live separately on the farm. Unfortunately we get a few weeks of wet weather each year so we mainly stay inside the house and don`t do outside work. During the winter months we hosted three groups of Chinese students. They didn`t write a review but were happy with their stay.

Farm duties include:
Working with the host on the farm. Jobs are to keep the farm running with cattle, coffee, chickens, nut and fruit trees and home garden. We have old work clothes you can use. This is a large hobby farm not a commercial operation.
