Want to visit Canberra, have a go living in regional Australia and learn about Australian winemaking while enjoy a glass or three? Come and stay.

About me - I'm Bobbie (35) and I run a small winery just outside Canberra in Murrumbateman. I'm friendly and social, and I love travelling and meeting new people. I also have a beautiful wine dog, Mollie.

About you - one or two people, friendly, show initiative and willing to give anything a go. Ideally you like dogs, wine and cooking; and are looking for a home away from home :)

I'm looking for helpers to assist 4-6 hours per day, with two days off each week. You will have your own room (with heater) and bathroom, internet and meals. I prefer if you can stay for two to four weeks.

I'll need helpers all through the year, with the tasks changing depending on the time of year. At the moment I'm looking for helpers to assist to label wine, prepare for cellar door, chop wood, do dishes, house cleaning and play with the dogs.

We can collect you from Casino Train Station. it takes about half an hour to reach the Ranch from the train station.
The climate in this small area is unique, we normally get regular rainfall all year.
We searched all of Australia and Tasmania for the perfect spot to live, secluded, safe and secure from all dangers including, storms, high seas etc. What we found was an incredible place hardly touched by humanity.
We would like you to come and spend time with us either visitors to Australia or born and bred Aussies.
Our place is very different from others you are likely to visit, no fruit picking. We grow vegetables keep chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, and geese also goats and some cute huge Rabbits etc b... more inside

Hello,

Looking for some help, can start now.

Do you have any carpentry skills?

That, and some babysitting, cleaning etc.

4 hours work per sleep per person ..... all meals provided .

We love this program and enjoy having people stay with us. We are a family of four. Arnie and I in our mid 40s, 12 yr old girl and 18month baby.

Thank you for your interest. We have been part of this and other program for around 5 years and we love it. We have had wonderful experiences. We are a buzzing family with lots going on in our household! Short term rental guests, film and photo shoots sometimes etc etc.
