I live in the town of Wagga Wagga where I grow a lot of my food on my property and use a small patch of my neighbours. I have veggies, herbs, quails and guinea pigs.I have designed my place so I collect a lot of the water that falls on my land, I recycle and compost all organic waste and produce very little hard waste. I live here on my own mostly but sometimes my children are here. I also teach yoga at my home most weekday evenings and sometimes private classes in the daytime. If you come to stay and help us I'd be happy for you to join my general classes at a Yoga Centre in town on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
My partner has an organic market garden 10mins drive out of town. This is where most of the work will be carried out. He grows a big variety of seasonal foods and flowers (see pic)and sells boxes during the week and attends a small market on Saturdays. I'd like someone with woodworking skills to help me enlarge my quail cage (but this is not essential... just a desire). ... more inside

G'day!

We are seeking friendly capable travelers, couples welcome, to help us with various tasks. At this time we are specifically seeking persons who could help prepare and pave an area in our back yard. We are not currently looking for any other jobs to be done, thank you.

We are 2 friendly girls, a couple, and our home is a great house & garden we think! We have 5 bedrooms, 2 lounge areas (upstairs & downstairs), a 1 acre block which is mostly bush, with local views! We have pretty great native Australian bird life, we are in a private and quiet area. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. We offer unlimited Wi-Fi.

I have a TESOL certificate and have taught English in the past, so I am happy to help with your English if you want (please ask!).

We are a vegetarian household, so sorry but no meat here for human consumption (only cat consumption!)... We will share meals when we are all home, but as we work full time we will supply food for you to prepare your o... more inside

Hello,

Looking for help from this Friday 26th April
-baby sitting
-cleaning
-social media skills

We love this program and enjoy having people stay with us! We are a family of four. Arnie and I in our mid 40s, 12 yr old girl and 18month baby.

Please do not apply if you are employed in any capacity, freelance work or otherwise, as it can get tricky to manage it all.

Please do not apply if you are unwell.

Please be mindful that we run AirBnB from one of our rooms, and partly work from home, so our family also needs privacy from time to time. The best experiences we have are with those who are both good workers and who are excited about going off to soak in the Sydney culture.

Please note that we get many people contacting us to stay in our home, and it is hard sometimes to reply to every message - we apologise in advance if you do not hear from us. We are mostly last minute takers, so feel free to message us more than once, and closer to the time you ... more inside

Some of your daily tasks could be assisting us in:

helping in the kitchen cooking and preparing meals
building, planting, and harvesting our organic vegetable garden,
general gardening maintenance ie weeding, mowing, edging
moving, restoring making furniture,
German language practice

Please note: Positions available April 2019.

We are a "down to earth" couple living on a cattle farm bordered by national parks and pristine fresh water mountain river. The farm is situated halfway between Coffs Harbour and Armidale with Dorrigo being our closest town (20 min drive). Our farm would suit those who are keen to experience a casual rural lifestyle, slightly off the beaten track, with a sense of humour, an appreciation of the natural environment and the goal of experiencing Australian rural life. A love of animals and a positive "can do" attitude plays an important part in our lifestyle.

We are situated only 15 mins drive from popular camping grounds and bushwalking in heritage listed rainforests.

Our house is small but we offer shared accommodation with your own private bedroom (see pic), separate bathroom (see pic) and communal living room, free wifi, all meals. LGBTQI friendly, flexible arrangements about help exchange. As we live some distance from town ide... more inside
