Hello and welcome to beautiful Olinda.

We are a family of four, Simon, Josie and our two boys. We are situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley, with views over the mountains. On our farm we grow a wide range of bio-dynamic fruit, nuts and veg including chestnuts, walnuts, nashis, avocados, strawberries, free range eggs and a mixed home orchard and vegetable garden. We are in the process of designing and developing the property at the moment.

We are currently building our farm shed (out of recycled materials) so will need help framing, cladding, and building barn doors. We are concentrating on cleaning up the property (clearing blackberry) and deer proof fencing our boundary. We need odd jobs done around the house, the home garden and home orchard. We are also continually collecting and storing fire wood. We are preparing areas for berry production, so there is work mulching/tree removal. We have just planted avocado trees that need to be mulched and watered. Strawberry plants are producing now and we will need to pick ... more inside

We are looking for more helpx over the Xmas period so if you would like to come and help in the garden during this time please contact us. there will be amazing food :)
We live in the mountains of north east Victoria, one hours drive from Albury Wodonga. It's a really pretty place with rivers and creeks and friendly people. Our garden is what needs the most work as there is about 4 acres of it and we open it up to the public for some of the year. We have a large collection of medicinal plants and visitors can take tours to learn how plants were used to heal in the past.
We like to do artistic things, we make our own soap and always have building projects on the go.
The gardens are magnificently landscaped and include a water lily covered lake with Monet bridge, large vegetable garden and hedge maze.
We are located beside the Mitta Mitta river in a picturesque mountain area close to the snow fields.
We ask for 5 hours or there abouts gardening or odd jobs per day.

We are looking for help in our sled dog kennel. We live in the middle of Gippsland, close to the 90 mile beach. The closest town (Sale) is a 20 minutes drive away.

We have 60 dogs (85% of them rescues), some chooks, a few sheep, and Toby and Chancy, the miniature ponies (plus some wandering koalas, kangaroos, and possums).
We are looking for help in caring for our animals and helping maintain and renovate our farm. We are looking ideally for people interested in coming for a minimum of three weeks, as some of our rescues need time to get used to new faces.

The kind of jobs depend on the season, from the fun time of year when all our huskies are blowing their coats and need bathing and grooming, to the quieter June-August when most of the dogs are up the mountains running, and the farm needs painting, fencing, and general looking after.

We organise the week for the helpers with some set hours of work and days off, so you know in advance when you have free time to go around... more inside
