We are a small organic veggie farm, producing a range of veggies on 1000m2 and supplying the local community via the farm gate, farmers market, and local box scheme.

We need occasional help through the busy spring-summer-autumn period especially, jobs will include day to day weeding and picking.

You will have a self-contained accommodation, with a solar camp shower, composting toilet, and outdoor camp kitchen. You have a small shack with two indoor rooms which have fly-screen, and are clean and tidy. The rooms are no-shoes and no-smoking. There is a nice double bed waiting for you, with nice fresh sheets. The shack is set beside a billabong (where you can swim when it gets hot), amongst tall gum trees. It is a very private space, nestled in the back of the property.

It can start to get quite cold in May and June, so we don't recommend a winter stay unless you are strong for the cold!

We have sheep on the property, and a visiting dog (Charlie, who comes from Mum's place... more inside

Hi - we have a 1 bedroom Granny flat next to the main house that is available for a couple who are currently in Melbourne ( or Victoria) . We are in Beechworth in NE Victoria. Cost is $150 per week and you buy your own food. The cost maybe offset by work around the house.
We have lots of painting to do for the house and Granny flat. We have 3 energetic boys who are still able to get out on their mountain bikes despite the Covid restrictions. Must love animals as we have 3 dogs ,
horses , etc. Must be fit .
Cheers
Tony / Kylie

We are located at the base of the iconic Mount Buffalo with its numerous walking tracks, waterfalls and views, 3 minutes from Porepunkah which has wineries, cafes and a pub, and 10 minutes to the popular tourist town of Bright with many interesting shops, galleries, brewery and the Ovens River. No house to stay in yet, accommodation is in your own tent or camper van, or we can provide a tent, mattress and bedding upon request.

Hi thanks for visiting

I currently have a room available to a Helpx person or two at my holiday house on Philip Island. Offered rent free but you provide your own food and take general care of the property. Contact me if this is of interest.

This idyllic 6 hectare hobby farm is located along a creek valley in the foothills of the Dandenong ranges.
Along the creek border is a flora and fauna reserve of more than 100 hectares full of wildlife, complete with walking trails, all accessible from the farm.
Kangaroos and wombats visit every day as do a myriad of native birds such as cockatoos and parrots.
Volunteers can help 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, in a range of tasks including domestic duties, animal care (horses and dogs) and farm work. Contributing to the daily chores of meal preparation, cleaning up after meals is in addition to the farm work. Think of it as being part of the family where you participate and share the chores.
The reward is the special Aussie... more inside

A single helper is needed who would like to assist with planting & gardening work, cooking, yard work & general help of which there is a very wide variety dependent on the season.

I am a retired older man with a well set up one acre permaculture hobby property in the quiet rural surrounds of Daylesford.

This hosting would best suit a helper with a car who is interested in a longer stay & is at ease with animals.
Use of guest bedroom.

Good WiFi & Telstra Ph coverage.

Please write to me if you feel you are a good fit here & we can exchange more information & arrange a ph talk about the current coronavirus situation and work out a possible stay here.

Preference is given to a helper with a green thumb & who has experience in gardening & vegetable bed care.

We are a semi retired couple, enjoying life on our 2.5acres. We have a dog (Shadow), one precious cat (Puss) and 15 chickens and a rooster..
Serena has planted lots of trees and shrubs, a nice vegetable garden, but it's all getting out of hand!
We'd like someone to assist us with carting mulch, cutting back trees and shrubs, and general garden maintenance jobs. We ask for 3 hours/day (for a couple) or 4 hours/day (single person) in return for full board and lodging (either in a caravan on site, a Queen bed in Serena's shed or in-house, depending on availability).
Essential you have your own transport since we're 7km from nearest town.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we can't take anyone at the moment!
