Hey good people
About 6 years ago, after living in various dynamic communities around the world and following my creative dreams, I returned to my childhood frm which has been in my family since 1948
It was a working sheep farm and mix farming or lamb, wool and grain.

Im in the process of converting the bigger agricultural sheds into usable spaces for yoga and other aligned retreats. Ive been planting a big vegetable patch, raising laying hens and collecting fire wood from fallen trees on the land.
My dream is to host small meaningful festivals, and over time to re wild the land with native bush land and tradition indigenous food and leave the land better than I found it .

I am looking for hard working and capable people to enjoy their time working on various building, painting and gardening jobs.
The work exchange is 5 hours a day, basically morning through til lunch time and you will have the afternoon free to explore more or just relax.
The exchange is 3 meals a day... more inside

Please post photo of yourselves. A lovely home atmosphere. Own room, double bed and couch. Wifi free. I have a large standard male black poodle who loves everyone. You must love dogs. We love to cook, and if you love cooking, sharing experience and recipes, even better. The work here is garden maintenance, pruning and lawn mowing, weeding, and some cleaning in the home. We would like you to feel like were a family. If you have a car, there is off street park for you. We eat all foods. But you must put something towards the food you eat. A couple is ideal. Accommodation in return for garden work. You will have time for yourself. We can do the shopping together. I love to have conversations and hear about where you are from. I can help you improve your English, but I need you to be able to speak enough for us to understand. Id like a couple, but not two guys. My home is on the Mornington Peninsula within walking distance to beach. Near a lovely village. 1 h... more inside

We are looking for a Helpx person or couple for our horse stud to start next week when our present group leave. We provide an opportunity for backpackers who have an interest in horses to spend some time on a horse stud where horses are ridden and trained for dressage and jumping. Those that have established riding ability have an opportunity to ride and undertake instruction in riding, it provides a great opportunity to improve riding skills for those that are suitable. We have other horse related activities for those who cannot ride proficiently.

We have been training and breeding competition horses for over forty years and information about us is available on the web. For those that wish to review that information, Google search for our property name which is Northern Warmblood Stud, or Northern Warmbloods.

We have a beautiful private farm house for you to self isolate in and in return we would like you to paint some of the inside bedrooms. The house has a SPA and log fires and a mountain stream at the backdoor.
If you are keen to get out of the city then this is the place for you!

We live in the mountains of north east Victoria, one hours drive from Albury Wodonga. It's a really pretty place with rivers and creeks and friendly people. Our garden is what needs the most work as there is about 4 acres of it and we open it up to the public for some of the year. We have a large collection of medicinal plants and visitors can take tours to learn how plants were used to heal in the past.
We also have some house painting to do.
We like to do artistic things, we make our own soap and always have building projects on the go.
The gardens are magnificently landscaped and include a water lily covered lake with Monet bridge, large vegetable garden and hedge maze.
We are located beside the... more inside
