We would love to hear from anyone interested in helping on our 60ha/150 acre Certified Organic family farm. Accommodation is in an adjacent self-contained cottage so we can cater for those who have travelled and who will require to self-isolate. We are located 100 kms west of Cairns and grow tea tree, limes & various vegetable crops. A large fire back in late 2019 caused a lot of damage and we are slowly getting back up on our feet and finally the farm is looking green again after recent rain.
Work mainly includes, fruit picking, mulching, weeding, gardening, fencing and irrigation repairs. We also hope to start repairs and renovation to the cottage and harvesting/distilling of Tea Tree Oil.
During these times of self-isolation our farm also offers plenty of space to exercise, walk, relax and swim or fish in our very own large dam. Buses from Cairns to Mareeba daily. ONLY Optus & Vodaphone reception so be prepared for limited connections and communication disruptions. S... more inside

Hi! My name is Natalie and my husbandís name in Damien. We are a youngish couple who have just bought our first house on 34 acres just outside Bundaberg, a small town in Queensland, on the East Coast of Australia. Most of the acreage is natural bush with endless trees and kangaroos!

Our house is a 75-year-old Queenslander in a semi-rural area. Both the house and the property need a bit of TLC and we would absolutely love some help! Therefore, we are looking for someone who has experience with home renovations or a possible tradie such as a builder, carpenter, electrician, plumber, or landscaper (or someone who is a good worker, quick to learn and is good at visualising).

We are passionate travellers and have travelled to over 50 countries together. We both love to explore new cultures and to meet people from a variety of backgrounds. We would describe ourselves as hardworking but also easy going and adaptable. We have been Helpers ourselves in a few countries so we have experi... more inside

We have vacancies for a couple and a single. Since the borders are still closed, its helpful if you are in QLD. We have been hosting since 1998 and we're grateful to say we've had some really exceptional visitors from many countries. We are lucky to have a beautiful farm, our property is 14 acres in the hinterland of the Gold Coast, just on the ocean side of Mt Tamborine. There are 4 horses which are fed & cared for twice per day, peacocks and gardens. We don't have dogs so we have abundant wildlife who gather here daily. We are also wildlife carers & often have orphan native animals in our care or recently released on our farm.
There is so much to do on a farm, we have lots of projects on the go at the moment, from building stone gateways to house renovations, gardening, property maintenance, animal care, housework, window cleaning, mowing, whatever we are doing at the time. Two days off each week. In saying that everything here is pretty laid back, you'll be helping a farming... more inside
