We are looking for our next lovely helpxer to become part of our family :)

We are a busy, friendly, loud, easy going family, we have a nice modern house with a huge backyard. We like rugby league, martial arts, camping, movies.

We live on an 8 acre property 10 minutes drive from Ipswich, there is no public transport directly to our place but happy to take/collect you from train or bus station if required and drop you into town if you want to go out. We are 50 minutes from Brisbane by train. Ipswich has shops, cafés, cinemas etc. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, cow and goose.

We require one or two people to help with the housework like washing, sweeping, tidying, meal prep, general cleaning, feeding the animals etc. our house is busy with all the kids so someone who has initiative and can help out with general household jobs without needing prompting all the time is essential. Updated 16/08/2018

Our farm has a rich history and we have several projects happening. We are very outgoing and really enjoy experiencing new cultures.

We require 1 to 2 workers who are reasonably fit, outgoing, and willing to experience a very different lifestyle. We especially want you if you have initiative and can work independently and intuitively. In exchange for good work ethic, we often take our helpers for day trips into country.

The area is often referred to as the last frontier due to the extreme weather and wildlife. We welcome people from anywhere in the world and the length of stay is not important, you may stay for 1 week or many weeks.

The facilities we offer include internet, wide variety of food, toilets, fully furnished kitchen and your own lockable room. The bus stop is walking distance to the house and we are next door to the famous Lion's Den Hotel. Please remember there is no mobile reception on our farm though.

We have a wide range of work to... more inside

Hi helpers, travellers and yogis,

looking for volunteers to stay for a minimum of two weeks or longer. It takes two everyone time to adjust too now ways of living somewhere new and the first two weeks there is a lot of adjusting on both sides.

We Olly and Ethan (11 year old son) are looking for people to share our everyday life. The farm is off-grid, and I try to live as best as I can bring self-sustainability. I care dearly and am passionate about the environment with my own take on life. Ethan from this school year moved away and now only stays with me at weekends and holidays. I am sad about that and miss him being with me during the week. I am going through a separation and at this stage am unsure if I will be in a position to stay on the farm after December after 2018.

It is a difficult time and I have a lot to do and manage. I like peoples company and to share life organism and planning every day living. There is a lot to do settling in working out routines an... more inside

we live on 4.5 acres of reclaimed tropical dairy land in the green tropics of far north queensland.
the atherton tablelands elevation ensures slightly cooler and more comfortable temperatures than the coast.
our property is peaceful and green. at night, you can see the milky way clearly and hear the johnston river at the end of the road.
we have been planting for the last few years in an effort to provide habitat for birds and mammals and have finally successfully attracted a lumholtz tree kangaroo to our property.

we need assistance with the garden: basic weeding and mulching and pruning.
my husband milks cows twice a day for a neighbouring farmer, and i run two small businesses.

your accomodation is a very comfortable latex mattress on a teak daybed in the spacious and colourful weaving and spinning studio next to the kitchen.
we all share a single, very modern bathroom.
our home is a converted boat shed...spacious and open plan.
we run on solar power and rainwater h... more inside
