Available for 1 week or more.
We live on a beautiful farm on the Huon river, in the Huon Valley.

We are a family of four, two children and two adults. We have a dog, chooks, ducks.

We love fishing on the river and spending time in nature at beaches, gardens, or the bush.

This exchange is for people with a car because we live out of town.

10-15 minutes drive to cygnet.

Walking distance to beaches.

We have a spare room in the house available to stay in, in exchange for help inside and around the house - work would be basic house work, jobs around the house that get neglected due to a busy life!
Outside work in our home vegetable garden,

Usually we ask for 2 hrs a day with two days off over a week period. With this small amount of work we ask that helpers provide most of their own food. We can negotiate this and be flexible.

The helper/s will have plenty of free time daily to do what they like, work elsewhere or explore this beautiful part of the world.

Please do not include me in a group message to other hosts. Helpers need to confirm they have their own work cover/accident insurance, protective work boots, clothing and sun screen lotion.
Planet Sandi overlooks the rural village of St Marys near the north east coast of Tasmania. I am a retired gardener who is developing my retirement retreat which I am happy to share with visitors. I enjoy meeting travelers, fishing, cooking, art, dogs, cycle touring and being content with my world. FOREST EXPERIENCE for the adventurous!

If you need a place to stay while you look for a job or after you finish, this might suit you! We recently had 3 fantastic French helpers who finished up after a few weeks and got a job blueberry picking. You ideally need a car to stay at this property. At the moment there’s an Aussie guy (33 years old) arrived on Jan 25th and a Canadian guy (20 years old) arriving tomorrow on Jan 27th so you’d be camping together with them. One of them has his own car.

We are driving to the property around 11.30 Monday morning Jan 27th if you want to come !

You would be staying at our beautiful forest property at Margate 20 minutes south of Hobart. This property won't be suitable for everyone as it is CAMPING only ...but good food and beautiful nature. Our main family home is in the centre of Hobart.

There's an enclosed outdoor shower, BBQ facilities, solar panels, fridge, phone charger port, no WIFI but Optus, Vodaphone & Telstra both work ... more inside

*** Please note we must have a one-week probation period to gauge good comfort level, great English communication and personality matches ***

Hello Helpers, my name is Angela and I am assisting Lee to find someone suitable for the following position and opportunity.

Lee was hit by a car when aged 5. He is a quadriplegic (paralysed from the neck to his toes) and needs around-the-clock physical care and support. He and his elderly father (John, 66) would love considering another friendly helper.

They have a beautiful 20 acre property 45 minutes North of Hobart (capital city of beautiful peaceful Tasmania) and they require a lovely person (mature female preferred) to live and work on the property.

They have a nice private bedroom, with shared bathroom (toilet and bathroom will mostly be yours except for occasional use by other carers).

The property is mostly paddocks but around the house are amazing gardens and spectacular water features, a 20 tree fruit orchard, above ... more inside
