We run a small, attractive 4 bedroom guest house, in picturesque St Ives Cornwall, England, which has 4 stunning sandy beaches and a working harbour. Our guesthouse is very close to the surfing Porthmeor Beach.

We are offering a part-time opportunity for 4-6 weeks,(depending on your availability), covering the period between mid June - late October 2019, though some periods have already been taken, we are shortly due to fill in the remaining weeks for this summer/autumn season. We are very flexible on the timings and happy to discuss/accommodate your dates.
Approx 13-16 hours per week - spread across 6 mornings - between 10am - 2pm usually . Therefore all afternoons and evenings are free. Plenty of down time for the volunteer, which is particularly good news for any EU citizens who may wish to seek a small part-time temporary job.
Our helper will work alongside the very friendly management couple who run the guesthouse - sharing all aspects of their work - no cooking required.... more inside

Hello from Dave and Jan!
DO YOU REALLY LOVE DOGS? WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE WITH US AS PART OF OUR FAMILY?
We are looking for help from the last week in March, ready for the lambs being born in April.
We have 3 lovely dogs, chickens , ducks and sheep.
Our house is a dog hotel, with dogs staying with us for their holidays. The dogs are all in the house with us, so we prefer you to have some experience with dogs. You will have to walk them whatever the weather, feed them and clean up after them. We also have a cattery where cats stay for their holidays.
You will be working with the animals, gardening, painting, cleaning the house, chopping wood etc. There is always plenty to do so we guarantee that you will not be bored! There is a chance to learn about training dogs in various activities.
You will be well fed with meat and vegetables from our garden where possible. We enjoy good food and conversation around the table, and hope you have a good sense of humour!! We also like to t... more inside

Hello, we are Jane and Dave. We live in a small village in rural Lincolnshire in the East of England where we keep bees, chickens and pigs (pigs only during May-November) and grow fruit and vegetables in our large garden.

Weve travelled a lot ourselves, so its great to welcome people from around the world into our own home. We get the benefit of all the help with the animals, the garden and our various projects and enjoy the company of so many interesting people. Our volunteers seem to be happy too, have a look at our reviews to see if this is a home-stay you would enjoy and please do read our profile fully before you apply.

For 2019 we'd like to welcome couples, small families or single people who really aspire to our values and life style and who would like to help us. We need practical, handy, competent people who can recognise what needs to be done, take the initiative and help to make things happen. We host volunteers continually between the end of March to the end of ... more inside

Looking for people from April 2019:
We have a large house and garden with lots of outbuildings so there are always jobs to keep everything under control, such as gardening, cleaning, building maintenance, fruit picking and cooking. We also run a campsite, have people who rent rooms from us long term and people who rent rooms for just a couple of days. So its fun here with lots of new people coming and going. You will not be asked to help with our business, but if you choose you can practice your English on our guests.
